It is very kind of you to say so. Its a simple, natural LOVE of plants, and it is such a thrill to know that people enjoy hearing about them. But more IMPORTANTLY, it is wonderful to think that by introducing them, people are now hopefully getting the opportunity to experience some of the joy we get out of growing and enjoying them. There's so many good plants out there, and it is FUN to think that these videos are helping to enrich people's lives. Thank you.

@@OverdevestNurseries Good video quality+ clear explain+ kind and gentel words respond. I will not be surprised if one day you could have double or 10 times or even 100 times plus subs. You deserve that believe me! Hope there would be some video about hydrangea paniculata in autumn season. Expecially some special type such as zinfin doll or dimond rough. It could be so nice to see how the colour changes. When I bought hydrangea paniculata last year it was really confuced when I doing research about how red they could turn in autumn time. Hard to find a video to see the difference between each of them, not only the flower shape type but also how red they could turn out. Just my little suggestion because not so much youtuber did video about that. Hope you have a wonderful day and happy gardening!

Hello 👋 my question is can this hydrangea grow in full sun or does it need shade
@OverdevestNurseries3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it loves the sun, and that will help it set plenty of flower bud, so it will be fine. Just make sure to incorporate plenty of organic matter in the planting hole and mulch it too to help it during dryer periods. If you have a new garden (and the space) you might consider planting a tree or taller growing shrubs on the western side of the the plant, so that as they grow they provide a little late afternoon shade. This won't affect the way it grows but will help the flowers last longer.

What a great video! Thank you for sharing. Does the Paris change color like the Venice can. Also does the Venice grow a bit larger then the Paris? Thanks again!

Thank you for your kind comments. We get a lot of pleasure out of making our videos and it is great to know that people like yourself are enjoying them too! Hydrangea Cityline Paris does change color in acid based soils but like most red colored mophead vars. it will turn to purple shades rather than blue. As for sizes, you are also correct, Venice will get up to about 3' whereas Paris with its tight compact habit only gets to about 2' or so. Here's a link to our website that will give you more details of all the hydrangeas (106 Vars) that we grow: grownbyoverdevest.com/splant/?_sfm_genus=Hydrangea Finally, I wonder if you have considered subscribing to our channel? we are filming and posting new videos all the time and there's probably some more coming that you might enjoy seeing.
