I have to admit that watching this video, I almost stopped because I was soooo confused about what you were trying to explain in the beginning and almost resigned myself to not ever doing Hydrangeas even though I love them.... thank you, thank you for your great tutorial and going slow and explaining the complexities of this that I now can't wait to try this on a dresser I have been inspired to start painting on... Looking at that pallet behind you, seems like each one should be an abstract painting all by itself, instead of tossing it. This one called "Abstract Hydrangeas".

I did like this painting a lot, but I felt the lining was too much, but I do realize is for instruction. Sherpa has another on black that is not lined that is absolutely lovely. Still watch her hand motion with the brush to give you the leave of the blossom.

Thank you so much for your feedback and I want to so in my mind It is 100% ok to not enjoy the lining as much ( art is preferences) and thank you for the head nod about the instruction that means a lot to me. I do love the other on black I think you mean the lilac with butterfly?
