Yes!!! Years ago when I made a concerted effort to drink more water regularly throughout the day, I naturally stopped craving other liquids and started craving water only for quenching my thirst. Now I don't even like natural fruit juice. Anything with even a little sugar makes me feel instantly thirstier! I have a question, though. I'd love to add some electrolytes to my water now and then. Do you have any tips on finding a high quality electrolyte water without all the nasty sweeteners?

My favorite electrolyte product is made by Ultima. It is not organic but it is non-GMO and sweetened with organic stevia!!

I LOVE Debra. But unfortunately, here's some science that disproves what she incorrectly reported. Cold water will NOT cause fats to solidify or coagulate in the body for 2 reasons. 1) Normal body temp is 98.6 degrees F & 37 degrees C so at those temps, fat cannot solidify. 2) Stomach acids will break down fats & they don't allow fat to solidify or coagulate. Maybe there are other legit reasons not to drink cold water, but not the fear or concern that fat will solidify or congeal in the body, Debra, please change your content to reflect scientific fact. Thanks!

I've been teaching this for 50 years (since my mom learned it at a precursor to Weight Watchers called Trims and came home and stopped giving us kids cold water with our meals - and I never questioned it!!). What you're saying makes so much sense!! You learn something new every day!!
