If products that are made are highly durable, then people would be using it for generations because there would be no reason not to which means newer products that are made won't be purchased leading economical problems cause your government needs money to maintain you city/country and that money comes from tax and if industries made durable projects and run out of customers that makes thier profits go down which inturn makes the tax that they pay go down so the government won't have enough money to maintain the city incase of mobiles there are other reasons

This is because the force they exert (their weight) is dependant on the gravity of their location. For example an object with a mass of 10kg will exert about 100 N of force under the earth’s gravity. This 100 N is what we feel when we try to lift it. The difference comes when we change the gravity. If we take this 10kg mass to Mars and try to lift it, it’s weight will feel a lot lighter. This is because under Mars’s gravity it will WEIGH about 38 N. So when you try to lift it up, it will feel about a third as heavy as it did on earth, even though it is the same mass of 10kg.
