How to calculate the sheet thickness for hydraulic tank reservoir

Depends on the size of the reservoir, the amount of fluid, the type of hydraulic system, there is usually no need for going overboard on the thickness as the reservoirs in open loop hydro static systems are not pressurized vessels.

It depends on a lot of factors such as the needed RPM output of the motor, the needed power of the motor, etc...
