Yea this would never hold up of its a car or truck body i guess if its a boat or something wpuld probably be ok...but ive seen them dipthe inside of rc bodies it works fine

Have you dipped RC bodies before when you do the inside you get bubbles all through it because the air cannot come out and if you hydro dip a body he'll be good for about 5 years you ever see someone with a welding helmet getting tossed around all you do is put two clear coat on the body and you're good to go

Your suppose to do it reverse so when you flip your truck it doesn't damage the Hydrodip but still looks awesome!

Common sense will tell you that he dipped outside so that thing is probably garbage after just a few runs. Lexans bodies are built to be painted on the inside so that ...nevermind i think you dont have common sense. Im not being rude just being stupidly honest

You can get a hydro dipping kit and it comes with the activator that's what he sprayed on it

how has this held up? doing the hydro dip on straight plastic? did you scuff it first. or use adhesion promoter first.... i was told the hydro film actually etches on to paint... but you didnt use pain just clear plastic... please help

pit bull u can achieve a bond by applying a layer of clear cote to the polycarbonate first so the transfer film sticks properly. and as for the people asking about dipping the inside. its alot more difficult as its a concave shape. just takes a bit more practice.

The reason I did it on the outside is because its more easier then the inside to be able to do so you need more technique but i plan to do one in the future. Thank you for watching and asking.
