Hydrocolloid dressings support natural healing by protecting wounds from trauma and contaminants while maintaining a moist healing environment. These dressings can also be used to reinforce intact skin or newly healed sites.
Hydrocolloid dressings are flexible, water-resistant dressings composed of gel-forming agents that gently absorb fluid. These non-adherent dressings support natural healing by providing thermal insulation and promoting a moist environment for healing.
Hydrocolloid dressings act as a skin-like barrier, ideal for wounds with small to moderate drainage. These dressings can also be used over intact skin or newly healed sites to provide protection from friction and trauma.
Our latex-free Hydrocolloid Bordered Dressing features a water-resistant polyurethane outer layer and a gentle adhesive border.
Low profile makes this dressing a great choice for active users or over high friction areas.

About us -
Our company was founded by a US physicians and general surgeons with a passion for healing and helping those who have served in the US military.
As far back as 2200 BC, clay tablets describe the fundamentals of wound care: keeping the wound clean, dressings to encourage healing, and a bandage for protection. Since then, wound care has come a long way. Modern wound dressings have been engineered to work together with the biology of wounds to facilitate healing and prevent infection.
Our primary purpose is to offer low-priced, industry standard medical supplies online for convenient delivery directly where they are needed most, in patients homes and Skilled Nursing Facilities.
We make it easy to find what you need, whether you’re at home on your computer, or on-the-go, with your tablet or mobile device.

I must have missed the bit where they show you how to apply them. Mostly an advertisement.

Mine is sticking to the wound and it hurts like I’m pulling the top layer of skin of the wound off when I attempt to remove it -gently.

there's a plastic film that covers the sticky part, you need to remove it before applying it. I made the same mistake with the first patch I used because it's kinda hard to see. Sorry for the late response

So I have a cool story ,so when I was riding my bike one day at an resort the Handel bars were very spread out so it was hard to control it but anyways I fell and a scab was there for about 2 weeks and then it healed Finally but I guess karma got me cause when I’m as on the edge of a bouncy water slide I fell off and It ripped open the spot when the scab healed and now I’m using it and I’m kind of weirded out cause it turned like puffy and white

Hi, I applied a hydrocolloid patch to a two inch 2nd degree burn about 8 hrs after it happened. I am wondering when I should change it. It seems quite full of the white substance. Seems strange to leave it covered in what seems to be this air tight environment...please advise.

Hello and thank you for your question. Hydrocolloid dressings contain hydrophilic colloid particles, such as carboxymethylcellulose, pectin and gelatin. They absorb exudate and swell into a gel-like substance over the wound, providing a moist healing environment and thermal insulation. The outer polyurethane layer seals and protects the wound from bacteria, debris, and shearing. The answer to your question is that the dressing should be changed if it becomes saturated. You will know when the dressing is saturated if fluid begins to leak outside of the dressing. Hope this helps!

I am using these bandages i too have a 2nd degree burn, that the ER cut away the blister. My healthy skin is showing signs of maceration. How long did you keep the bandages on?

@@michaelpatin1362 I cant remember exactly. I did changed the bandage twice though. I think it might’ve been about three weeks all together. Healed great and didn’t scar.
