It's a pretty decent sniffer definitely not the best, but I think it is the best for the price. I am a little concerned that if it breaks that I will be Sol, but I believe it is already more than paid for itself

Hey man, I just recently purchased this equipment Jacob 430. I’m struggling to use this one because I’m thinking maybe I didn’t get that correct gas any tips you can tell me where did you purchase the gas for it and any codes for that I really appreciate if you could let me know thank you.

Well it needs to have hydrogen in it so I use the 95 nitrogen 5% hydrogen mix works pretty well but it takes a long time for it to purge through the system. So you have to shut the water down and then I use the pressure from the hydrogen and open a hose bib until all the water leaves and I start hearing the hydrogen come out of the hose bib then I shut it and then I will start it like 10-15 lb and bump it all the way up to 50 if needed that usually will create The Purge. You should be hearing gas come out of the valve. Make sure you have a regulator valve and then I connect to an air hose and then usually go to a garden hose. You cannot go through frost-free hose bibs so washer boxes are very handy. Let me know if you need any other tips

So far I haven't used it long enough to say for sure had it glitch once. I think the sewerin would be the best but this works and is cheaper.

What type of regulator you use is for ?

Honestly I can't remember the exact name but I went to industrial source and they basically set me up, although they were unsure of what I was doing once I explained the type gas I was using 95% nitrogen 5 percent hydrogen and would need to run pressures in the 10-100 lb range they figured it out. I will make a video describing it
