Hydrogen Powered Turbojet Walkthrough - Part 1

Hydrogen, as a clean and powerful primary fuel, can easily be used in both Brayton and Otto cycle engines. This turbojet engine is a tri-fuel, liquid fuel engine that is modified to operate on gaseous hydrogen. At 40,000 RPM this Turbo-Jet engine is operating a far cry from the maximum 130,000 RPM capability. Post APU assistance to light up - once spooled over 12,000 RPM it operates like a Scram Jet engine running on 100% Hydrogen.
