Great video. I, personally put the sorting as gems, iron, gold, shards, cloutium. The reason I do this is that I want the "worst" item sorted first, that used to be gems. Then, I want to get the most common item dealt with next, to reduce the number of "items" on the playfield - iron, then gold, etc. This helps prevent things turning into a slide show. I don't have a 10th gen Intel cpu, or a late-model ryzen cpu. So, I have to be careful to not overdo things. You've seen my main build, and overdo is what I always do. I can freeze up my system pretty fast if I leave it going for more than a few minutes. When it starts to lag, it causes things to get stuck in the sorters, which then can freeze the game up completely if you don't know EXACTLY how to resolve that. You probably know how to overcome that, but lots of players might not know that you can pull the sorter, and pull the smelter, both out of the way. Next grab a panning bucket, and hop around the glob of gold/iron/etc. so that the big bucket touches the glob of minerals. A few jumps and the bucket will be holding all that mineral goodness. Drop the big bucket, and put things back in place. Turn the system back on, with the drills off, and dump the big bucket onto the start of the sorting line. Viola, all the minerals go where they should and get smelted. Hope this helps someone. Thanks Hybridsteel. Love the content. Best to you and the fam.

So with that first ram drill. Not actually sitting on dirt to begin with. Will it not make more if I use bedrock dirt to place under it?

Nope it wont and the reason why is because a ram drill is only programmed to "drill" top level dirt and only give top level reward. as its a starter thing. if you go advnaced then u need a goliath or know how to optimise the drill to get the most out of it.

Just got my 1st gaming pc and after spending a little bit too much on steam I now finally get round to playing this, did my first 4hrs last night and only just found out you don’t have to empty your pan every scrub smh took me 2hrs to realise hold E for easier placement of things and about the same to notice if I drop money onto money the amounts combine into 1 amount which is a bit easier than having money everywhere lol loving the game now back to the vid

been te4sting this so if you add a second drill and feed it through the same belt as drill number the grinders cant cope and u acctually lose a piece of ore each time as the timing in the grinder has beens slowed down a tiny bit. if your gonna use a second ram drill or even goliath if your into the game that far then ur best making a second line and feeding into the harvester on a second belt into the funnel

I'm sure I don't speak for everyone when I say this, I know all the awesome people will agree with me when I say this atleast..... I really enjoyed the longer video, and I wouldn't necessarily be mad/upset about having longer videos like this from you. I like u cut out the 30min bit of just waiting. I'm not wanting like hour long videos, but I like the 20-40 min videos. So then I have something I choose to watch for a decent amount of time instead of looking for a new video every 10 mins while I'm working. Maybe you could enlighten me on why, but i don't know or understand why so many youtubers only post 10 min videos. I know 10 mins is the ideal length for ads or more pleasing to the algorithm, but sometimes the video really needs to be longer and the really short ones leave alot of info out. Maybe you can help me understand why creators post way more short videos 1(0mins or less) vs longer videos (20-30min)

because a lot of people dont watch many videos longer than ten minutes,, every youtuber is set by watch time average view duration and all the other things that can make or break the views of the video. and with youtube lowering the length of a video so they can advertise more it was another insentive for people to make shorter videos so they can put ads on shorter videos.. .. i normally make 10 minute or a bit more videos as their just tutorials. no real lets plays or other reasons to make longer videos as i know my view duration and people dont watch more than 5 to 6 minutes of a 10 minute video.. tis the joys of being able to see everything in the background
