Sorry if you mentioned this but where did you get the garden shelves/beds or was it built?
@beyourbestgardener87679 ай бұрын
Sure!! These are Rise Gardens ☺️ They're a bit back ordered at the moment but they're great! I love that they look like furniture and they're pretty easy to maintain.

Looking forward to seeing how sarandipity does! I have that one in an order on the way. I’m a collector of micro and mini dwarfs, there’s plenty to explore!

Oh really?? That's awesome! Funny we are planning to grow the same one! It's in the nursery. I'll definitely do an update! If you discover any others, definitely let me know ☺️

Try the Dwarf tomatoes from TomatoFest. I'm growing the Firebird Sweeet. The plant is about 2 feet tall and starting to flower. The leaves get a bit big but I just trim them.

Thank you! Looks like that tomato is indeterminate. Did you grow it it's entire life cycle and it only got to 2 feet? I'll definitely check out the website too. I have a list of about 6 varieties I'm planning to try. I talk about them in my next video.

I'm very happy to find your channel. I'm also always looking for the perfect hydro tomato and love the thrill of the hunt.

Hi, your plants look great overall. Regarding your cucumber plant, I think I watched a video on youtube about why cucumbers sometimes grow deformed like that. It stated that it was a pollination problem. That the flower/cucumber wasn't getting pollinated sufficiently. That might explain why the plant is trying to push out male flowers. Fascinating! Could be a gene activated to correct the problem.

Thanks! And ya, I don't know but this plant definitely was strange. I'm going to go back to 2 vines. This variety doesn't require pollination but ya, maybe something was going on because it started producing those male flowers.

@beyourbestgardener8767 I just looked up how parthenocarpy works. The plant uses a growth hormone to develope the fruit. Looks like something went wrong in the process, and it's trying to correct itself the old-fashioned way.

@@harry8442 really cool! Ya I actually didn't look it up at all! Thanks! It makes sense though because the plant overproduced because I didn't trim it like I normally do. I have another going so I'll see how it goes with only 2 vines like I've done before.

Nice setup and video, but you repeat cucumber way to many times.
@beyourbestgardener876716 күн бұрын
@@boby4751 thank you for the feedback. I grow pretty much the same plants in my garden so if I didn't repeat them there wouldn't really be much to talk about. I've thought about not talking about the same plants but then I'd just not do the videos at all. Do you have a suggestion?
