Beautiful harvest! your rise garden corner is gorgeous! I bought my rise garden after watching your videos and I prefer it over aerogarden systems. rise, in smaller space you can grow way more plants and it look beautiful. I had trouble using the powder rise garden nutrients tons of sediments! probably user error. I switched to the General Hydroponic trio bottles and I think they are working? it is too early to tell. I am growing Kandil pepper, it is a type of pepper that looks like green bell peppers but way smaller, and I had tons of fruits in the plant but they stop growing in size, listening to you talking about plucking extra flowers and fruits to let the plant concentrate on growing a certain number of fruits sounds like I can apply that to my peppers. Excellent video and thanks for posting. I too have two full three tier Rise Gardens, two countertop Rise Gardens, and one no-name brand with a trellis for growing vine plants. In addition to what you expertly spell out, I have picked up a few tricks along the way. 1. The amount of pH adjustment solution needed to add will change based on the total volume of water in your system. 2. The fuller the system, the more stable it is. Adjustments are needed less frequently. 3. Sprouts have less of an impact then full grown plants. Larger, full-grown plants will consume more nutrients, which directly impacts the PPM and pH. So depending on the mix of plant sizes, you may need to make more adjustments. 4 I get much higher yields when I keep the pH closer to the plant needs. So I keep like plants together. I have one system at pH 5.7, three systems at pH 6.0, and one system at pH 6.4. All plants grow super fast and produce high yields. 5. Spread out your sprouts. Don't sprout too many plants at the same time. This way you can maintain a continuous harvest. 6. have fun with it. Its actually super easy.
@beyourbestgardener87672 ай бұрын
@@JamesHarris-rl5zj great advice, thanks for adding it 😊 when I'm not exhausted after a day/week of teaching I really try to do all that except I keep my pH as a whole closer to 6 to make my life a bit easier and everything does great 😊.
