I bought these seed starting trays from your link. I'm in FL zone 9B and can finally start growing outdoors without everything cooking. I have two flex towers and two Lettuce Grows outside. My seedlings are just about ready to go into the towers. I appreciate your videos so much. When I do buy from tower garden I make sure its under you.

I really appreciate that you take time to answer questions. I'm the gal in Arizona, that has 12 towers, 8 of which I just put up and planted outside after a 3 month rest during the blazing summer. I have 4 indoors in my kitchen. I love your philosophy on seedlings and I'm switching to small containers. It gets frustrating using the large trays and constantly having to move seedlings around - for to crowding or not germinating etc I've had issues like you said about seeds not germinating. I didn't have covers for any of my trays and was wondering if that could be a first issue and then i was wondering how much water you use in the trays when you start and how much you keep in them. I do use water from the towers once they've germinated and use RO water to start. One other question I have is I have tried replanting seeds in rockwool when they haven't germinated- I rinse them out and replant and I have not had any luck with them sprouting and sometimes the rockwool falls apart. I get all my rockwool from TG. I buy it from them in the huge bulk box. As you said there's many factors that go into seeds not germinating but that is something i have run into. Hi! I love that you have so many towers! For watering I soak for 20 minutes then drain any excess. I keep my rockwool wet to the touch but not sitting in water. If your rockwool is falling apart than it has been exposed to way too much water in my opinion. My rockwool stay super firm. I like to be able to pick them up and they don't drip water. If you reseed rockwool sometimes it helps to just do a fail proof plant like arugula or heavily seeded baby greens.

@theaeroponictowerchannel thank you for help. I was taught to keep water in the trays so that the water came halfway up the rockwool and I do get germination but, I do get a lot of failure. To clarify, after you take the lid off when they've germinated and you start adding water to the trays, do you only add enough water to cover the bottom of the tray or more than that? Thank you again.

I water them like a house plant. I make sure the rockwool is wet all the way through and I drain all other water out of the tray. @@colleenwalsh3848

Will do. I literally sat down today making a list of what I will need to start. 2 major constraints that I have is that my back yard is really sloped so I was thinking of building a concrete platform. My second major constraint is the cost to get 1 aeroponic tower to my country. Might cost me about $3,000 for 1 tower 😢
