Calcium carbonate is soluble and therefore it is not permanent, and therefore unsuitable as an implant material. Whereas hydroxyapatite is calcium triphosphate and is extremely hard, being the main material in bones and teeth. Coral in its natural state is converted to hydroxyapatite by a laboratory process of hydrothermal conversion of coral and Ammonium phosphate

Ground up bovine bones contain Hydroxyapatite. It's usually offered in specialty shops as a bioavailable Ca supplement as it's not supposed to spike Blood calcium levels and contains all of the trace minerals of the bone matrix

Calcium carbonate is not absorbed where Calcium Hydroxyapatite is.

@PSTWFB exactly! I buy my toothpaste from wellnessmama.she avoids the flouride & glycerin. The ingredients include the nano stuff u mentioned here. Thank u for replying with this, gives me more confidence. Plus i'm reading ur link.
