Thank you Sir Heroscape for showing the tiles! Great Battle.

Great video Sir H, Always fun to see grimnak kill things. The tiles are cool. Probably the best bet for someone that doesn't already have a tile collection though. Storing tiles is already a spacious endeavor, I don't know what I'd do with even more of them. I wish them luck with their business, to help with the longevity of Heroscape.

I am gonna get the printer and give it a shot. I think the tiles are worth a chance to try. They do look really good and are a great idea as I said in my other comment.

Great battle, as always. Orcs are awesome, I love them. Chomp!

I wonder if people notice they shake the dice in their hands before rolling them, as if shaking will do anything. I wonder where that habit started, maybe movies about craps throwers? Keep up the great work on here! Always love viewing and listening to your commentary. More how to play videos would be awesome for special situations that you see asked on the forums.

Yeah, strategy guide videos and the like are definitely on my list, though those take a little more time and preparation, so I'll have to really think about a good way to do it.

Grimnak and heavygruts are great on small easy to maneuver maps. They just need good rolls.

It may be time consuming but I assume you have every figure. I would love it if you went through every single figure and gave your opinion and some basic tactics. Maybe do it wave by wave. Love the videos!

That’s a great idea. I’ve done like Top 10’s before but doing unit reviews Wave by Wave sounds like fun. I’ll put that on the list of ideas

You could also review any SOV custom figures that you have aswell. Would be nice to hear your thoughts on those too.

Do you find the hyground tiles to be easier or harder to setup? One of the hardest problems I have with heroscape is that most of my friends would rather play a game that takes 5 min of setup time rather than an hour lol. These tiles seem like they are more complicated and require more time to assemble, which is sort o fa deal-breaker for me. However, they do look really nice and I imagine if they can make these affordable they might take over and replace traditional heroscape terrain.

Cool video. Sorry Sir Heroscape, but great to see lady heroscape win a couple. :D I really like the tile. Honestly I think this is what the game should have came with.

Hah thanks! Yeah, sometimes her dice betray her in a weird kind of way when we video our battles, but I’m glad she’s gotten some wins too.

Hi where you got them printed at? I don’t have printing ability but I want to expand my heroscape tiles to dungeon crawl and campaign on it.
@SirHeroscape3 жыл бұрын
It's been a while since I've been in contact with them, so I'm not sure. They were running a kickstarter campaign, but I think you'd just have to access their content on their website.

Do you have a 3D printer? I don’t. And I know there’s other ways to print them but, if you already have heroscape I don’t see to get the the files then buy to get them printed then have them delivered a lot of extra cost. But, they are gorgeous. If they sold them as they are. I’m sold. Going broke take my money. Haven’t tried heat of the battle yet. On my list of game modes to give a go.
@Andromedax016 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately they tried launching the tiles by themselves on kickstarter a few years ago and it flopped. They had a high goal due to the high cost of producing the pieces. 3D printing is becoming affordable though. If you're into miniature gaming and/or board gaming (not just heroscape) it's definitely worth investing imho.

deff. i mean right now im head deep into heroscape with a bunch my friends where we make videos for youtube too. but, im hoping to do DnD soon

Hyground, On your site you reviewed some 3d printers. Will all the ones you reviewed printout all your files?
@hyground-3dterraintiles9456 жыл бұрын
All of them print our files beautifully except for the Anycubic photon. It's the only DLP (digital light processing) printer that we've reviewed. The others are all FDM- they use filament. The Anycubic photon prints small objects, scatter terrain and mini's amazing, but it changes the size of our tiles enough that they don't clip properly. The print bed is also pretty small.

My question to you Sir Heroscape though is around how would one go about using a 3d printer? Is it hard to use? Sorry I never used one before. I think if they start making the tiles it will definitely be worth investing in, but as of now my hesitation is the 3d printer.
@hyground-3dterraintiles9456 жыл бұрын
3D printers have gotten a lot easier to use in the past few years. We recommend the Creality Ender 3, It's about $240 on Amazon prime. We have a review for it on our website, HyGroundtiles.com There are a lot of Facebook support groups for it. If I have a question, I post it to a support group and get a lot of help.

I agree with HyGround. I have 2 Ender 3s, and I love them. Easy to use, and great quality for the price point. They'll both be working full time (along with my CR 10 S4) when the tiles are released.

HyGround - 3D Terrain Tiles This might be a stupid question but do the tiles have to be painted or do they come out pre colored?
@hyground-3dterraintiles9455 жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, You can print the tiles in any color you like. There are several of our designs that have multiple parts so they can be printed in different colors and then assembled. OR, you can paint them if you only have one color of filament.
@Ant-Man956 жыл бұрын
What type of material is the terrain that you were playing on?
