Very happy about the common squads! I'm confident that Renegade will get the distribution right this time around. I'm planning to attend Gen Con and ScapeCon 2025! This is too much Heroscape goodness to be finding out on KZbin anymore 😂😂😂 I'm giving myself a Heroscape allowance. I'm so glad and excited Heroscape is back, and that Renegade is leading it.

@@SirHeroscape We have come such a LONG way from the HasLab/Avalon Hill days. If you have any contacts over at Renegade, please give them my compliments. I've rarely seen a business pull off a turnaround like this listening to community (i.e. customer) feedback!

Enjoyed the game. Gutsy move opening up with Marcu. A betrayal may have led to a devastating hit on Raelin, but it worked. By rights, your opponent probably shouldn't have spent so many attacks on Marcu early/mid game, but Q9 just could not hit the bears standing right in front of him.

Agree, Marcu tied those bears up for some time but wasn't enough.

Glyph of Kelda, yes. But this was the Glyph of Haukland which allows anyone to step on it to “burn it”

Instead of a wash they should have a nice basecoate like D&D figures. Now I will have to remove the wash and then basecoat them. That's a bummer. The plastic inserts for the parts look cheap. As if they used normal drills to carve out the mould? Wow.

While Q9 is definitely great. There’s definitely ways to mitigate the damage this game. I like how you baited Kaemon down to level 2. So you could engage him and then take even ground. I think if I’m your opponent, I stay on height and take shots at Raelin, while maintaining 5 defense against Q9.

Confused as to how you were defending with Q9 like that. His card states nothing about being able to split defense die. Just attack only.

@@AustinMumford it was just easier to roll 5 dice and then 4…rather than roll all 9 at once because I was holding the camera in one hand and a fistful of dice in the other.

Not sure why the ads and promo pics showcased the wellspring water tiles as being a rainbow shimmer, then when you open it up and find out it’s just white. Kind of a let down in my opinion. And I don’t know about anyone else but my dragon is leaning in a way we’re his tail has to hold him up. Kind of sucks because he’s so top heavy.

@@oldgregg8291 yes. But they’re considered “Community Legal”. That is, they’re not just any Customs. The units are designed by a group called C3V, and they manage the creation and balance of continued expansions for the game from a customs community perspective.

At the start of round 2, I believe you moved 5 knights instead of 4.

It’s possible I edited the video wrong… editing videos of knights is tough because you’re dispatching four and then moving 4 and sometimes you’re moving them back and then moving a different one so I’m not surprised if I screwed the editing up… or maybe I actually did end up moving five on accident 🤷♂️

wellspring water also gives a debuff of 2 wounds if you roll 2 or lower. but it seems fait to play without the double wounds for a first time player and with such little armies. looks super fun cant wait to play myself
