Filling out old runs with cheap back issues is a great way to spend a con. I’ve done a full Transformers run, I’m about 6 issues away from completing GI Joe, the I’ll be going for the 80s and 90s Punisher runs (because Marvel refuses to collect those in a nice format). At mostly a buck or two an issue, it’s satisfying, but keep the wallet in check.

@@LukeJH11 it definitely feels better to drop $90 on 60 comics at a con rather than $90 on 10 comics which seems to be my regular Wednesday at a comic shop.

The boys are back! I know nothing about Death's Head, but that figure looks awesome! it's so different from typical figures/characters. If I was a kid and didn't know anything about that figure, but saw it in store, I would still want it and I would find a way to fit him into whatever figures I already had. I really like how he can either hold the weapon, or, take his hand off and make the weapon his hand. Luke Cage really does look so much like Terry Crews! If Chad didn't bring it up, I was going to point it out in my comment haha. I think for Halloween Chad needs to get a Walmart uniform or something 🤣or perhaps for Christmas I'll have to get him an I ❤Walmart t-shirt lol. I understand why you guys buy so many Spiderman figures, they always look so good.

@@smacrecords hey dude. Death’s Head is rad. You should consider seeking him out. I saw one in Bayer’s Lake last week. I’m sure he would display nicely with Alf. Luke Cage is so easily mistaken for Terry Crews because he’s dressed liked a civilian. This is exactly what I’m talking about. Give the man a superhero costume. We should do a Halloween episode in costume. Let’s see if Chad likes your idea and shows up in a Walmart smock.

@Hylandboy1 hahaha and now I have a Street Sharks shelf too, so he would easily fit in there! It's true! They need to show some respect to Luke Cage and get him a proper outfit. Hahaha I hope he's down for it! A Halloween themed episode would be great, especially if you got any more classic monsters figures on the way. I've been tempted to by the reaction figures for the old show, the Munsters. Most of my collecting revolves around old TV shows instead of comics.

@@smacrecords I never got into the Munsters but they would display well with my Universal Monsters ReAction figures. I’ve been considering buying the Vampira figure.

@Hylandboy1 I just bought the DVD set so I can re-watch them. Monsters make such good action figures. Everyone knows some version of a vampire or Frankenstein or werewolf. They often look really cool too. Then at Halloween time you can display toys in the living room and call them decorations! Haha

The biggest difference with the new 85th anniversary Venom has different Torso Articulation. People seem to like the Torso art. On the 85th much better

I was laughing at your Death's Head story as I did exactly the same thing, except my ebay order shipped before I saw that it was more widely available 😂 Still, I don't regret it as he is a great figure. I still have my UK Transformers comics where he was introduced and I always loved his character. I would like a repaint in his original Transformers colours but if not this one is still fantastic. I have him on my desk next to (comic colour) Galvatron.

@@gavinelliotjones the Death’s Head is great. I would buy a repaint as well. It sucks you had to overpay for him though. It was dirty how that all went down. I was about to overpay for an SDCC Cobra Commander too but then the refresh was announced.

I went to school with a Portuguese kid who had the last name Texeira so I'm pretty sure you're pronouncing it correctly do not sure if Mark pronounces it that way. He signs his art TEX so part of me thinks he probably uses the American pronunciation. Hopefully, Hasbro can reissue that Johnny Blaze figure sans chains and in classic blue. I'm sure if they make him a deluxe figure with his classic bike that people will buy it.

@@Hylandboy1 I'm shocked there isn't a Nightwatch yet. First saw him on a Marvel trading card as a kid and always thought he was pretty toyetic.
