This feels really calming to me actually, the song just sounds nice, and giving the context (you saved the zora eggs and they hatched, teaching you this song so you could make Lulu happy again and recover her voice), it even gives a "the calm after the storm" kind of vibe

I don’t think this song is very creepy at all tbh. I mostly find it calming and relaxing. It might just be your brain subconsciously altering how you perceive the music because of the tone of the game.

actually bossa doesn't mean wave, the wikipedia explanation is very wrong when the term first appeared in song in the 50s it used to be slang for someone having talent for a particular skill (ele tem "bossa" de músico = he has "bossa"/talent for being a musician) btw i am brazilian and i just now looked it up, because i had never questioned what the word actually meant before and it's a very obscure (unused) term

the original song in the game has a very limited feeling to it as if it’s just the first verse of a song. this remix literally just sounds exactly what i imagine the rest of the song sounds like, it gets a little jazzier and they start throwing in mini solos and riffs on each of their instruments. this is exactly what i was looking for
