The Spirit Temple feels so out of place compared to the rest of OoT

It's a good song. However, just me being nitpicky, I always pictured the Requiem of Spirit being a more sorrow/mourning sounding song. Like something you'd play at a funeral or wake.

Sinful_SM You know friend, I hate to say it but google what a requiem is. It's exactly what GameProse said. Requiem for a Dream is ultimately about the death of their dreams (from the movie). It is given different renditions for the various seasons as time progresses, but ultimately the finale is very sad. Check Winter Overture. The more energetic and upbeat version you must be thinking of is Summer, when all the hopes and dreams of the characters are being achieved. Almost like the peak of a high. WITH THAT SAID, I still think this rendition is amazing. As another said, it really captures the feel of the Spirit Temple/Desert. It's perfect, it's beautiful, it gave me chills and I wouldn't change a thing.
