Love the spreadsheet breakdown. I love numbers, so that was a simple but effective way to show data in your experiment. Well done Corgi! I, too, think CoD is situational. Most of my games in Mythic now do not really have CoD, as I prefer to have additional defensive items to sustain and tank all the damage, and rather let my team do the damage output instead. Plus, if I can sustain longer whilst I am using Ring of Punishment, my damage could theoretically be higher with less risk of dying so quickly. At the end of the day, its all about your play style and how you adapt to the current situation. Cheers!

Yes..Guardian helmet + cursed helmet..with max level..not even any squishy hero want to go near hylos and with common emblem, i can keep spamming ring of punishment during teamfight without worried running out of mana or hp.. A true punching bag for team because that's what tank supposed to be👍🏻

I'm surprised people thought CoD was for damage. It pairs well with thunder belt while giving regen, defense and max hp/mana. CoD can provide hylos with 60 hybrid defense after 5 ticks of RoP. That should be an additional 120 damage for thunder belt. It's not crazy damage but it's nice.

I still use CoD+Thunderbelt. Not only CoD regens are great, but the stacked hybrid defense could be converted to Thunderbelt true damage. So I use it for the bonk, not for skill 2.

Agree, that is a good combo for the thunder belt. The hybrid defense at full stacks contribute 72*2 true damage. Good viewpoint. Thanks!

Cod will 1) increase, skill 2 damage + cursed helmet damage + thunderbelt damage. 2) Give 1.8k Hp to sustain 3) Give both physical and magical defense. In full stack will have defense of 2 item 4) Replenish mana or hp when become low. Great Second item, First is thunderbelt.

We don't buy cod for its damage, we bought it for its hybrid def stack and its 1800 hp (with hylos passive)

@@enkawla. Valid point. The purpose of the experiment is to find out how much magic power adds to Skill 2’s damage and not to evaluate the defensive values of Clock of Destiny. Anyway it adds 1,600 HP and not 1,800. Cheers.

Try this :clock/domice/helmet/twilight/oracle ,heal emblem, favor blessing and heal spell , at late game nothing can kill you ,unlimited heals! if enemy got sustain dmg mage such as lylia swap oracle for radiant

My personal opinion is that it gets countered easily by Dominance Ice and Glowing Wand which reduces our healing.

There is no defense item that can increase the damage of Hylos ring. Not even queen wings. You have to use magic pen boots, genius wand, wishing lantern, divine glaive for that (troll build)

@@legendlucifer1105 Glowing Wand’s 75 magic power will add about 15 magic damage to Hylos Skill 2. 400 HP and 5% Movement speed. The unique passive will damage enemy for 1.5% of their max hp, it is easy to trigger this effect using Hylos Skill 2. Yes the anti-heal effect does not stack if you have both dominance ice and glowing wand.

COD does help with thunderbelt passive damage though from the stacks given from hylos 2nd skill right? But yeah his 2nd skill doesnt scale very well with items, good information.

Your point is valid. It does help, but under conditional situations to deal extra 144 true damage for thunder belt basic attack due to having COD. 1. Hylos level 15 2. 6 stacks of COD at 12 hybrid defense each. Only when these 2 conditions are fulfilled, COD contributes an additional 144 true damage on basic attack for TB.

It not about the damage it about the survivability, With CoD it give him hybrid def for every damage dealt... With 800 mana which increase his HP by 1.5. THE DAMAGE IS JUST A PLUS. People forgot Hylos still squishy of got not def and res What the point of a tank dealing damage but die from two hit?

It is part of the solo queue experience. I get stuck on the same stars at times as well. Maintain a positive mindset. Every game you can play your best and still lose, but most importantly, be consistent and always be at your best so you increase your chances.

my opinion is it is not useful because of 8% only for that short duration. The concussive blast provides a greater benefit and it scales with HP which is a relevant stats since we build defensive items with HP.

Now video why tanks feel so squishy in current meta 😅 I pick mage like Change and melt tanks. Imo skypiercer, new glowing wand (that trivializes regen, don't like that change), wishing lantern take a toll. Also dude do jg Hylos purple smite does around 1k dmg or more.
