Really love sedums. Sedum sieboldii (October daphne) and those in the Sunsparkler series are some of my favorites. But yes, I think the name has changed. I most successfully grow the creepers-in my yard the taller varieties end up getting munched by deer.

Here in the USA we are fortunate to have so very many Hylotelephiums to choose from thanks to companies like Proven Winners and Monrovia amongst others. There are sturdy and easy to grow plants of many sizes, colors of leaf and of bloom. I love their look in my garden in areas of poor soil and sharp drainage, in hot summer sun.

A word of warning: Deer eat sedum like candy. I had to move mine to a safe area. They transplanted with no problem.

In my experience, deer do not eat sedum. (NJ)
