Thanks for the great review guys and nice to see an Eriba. What you have to understand with the Hymer/Eriba’s is the build quality and the long shelf life of these vans for the price. A caravan like this will last you 20 years plus. Our little Puck is 20 years old next year and most people really cannot believe its a 1999 model when they see it on sites. Thats really where the money goes in your investment. Rod x

Thanks for your comments Rod and yes we see people on site who have Eriba Trolls and they are still going strong and to be fair still look like new, it’s all relative to how they hold the value and what people get out of them. If your happy and they are well built then it’s got to be a win win all round. 👍👍

I know where your coming from. I must say at first I thought it was quite plain but it did grow on me after a very short space of time. It did help that it all felt just so well made, solid and functional but must say I still prefer ours with the grey GRP sides as it looks different. 👍👍

I like the kitchen, but that's about it. Certainly can't see where they get that price tag. Does have a very nice usable max payload.

I must say this does have all the whistles and bells. Apart from underfloor heating it almost has it all. I think that it’s worth the money (because of the build quality and products used) but not necessarily that I would be happy parting with this amount for a caravan. However I must say that someone else has commented on this and stated that they have an Eriba and it will last for years and retain its value so like we say people do pay this amount for the likes of Airstreams. We just think it’s a really interesting discussion point. 👍👍👍

A real German Tank!!! At that price and weight it puts it out of reach of 99% of the British Caravaning Public I would have thought. And where is the Microwave!?!?!? All you are really paying for is the NAME, and not much else. Jonathan.

Bellisemo piece of equipment. 2 tons?? Even towing with a monster truck...it needs 2 axels/ four wheels. Im sure Hymer knew that, but cost prohibitive for buyers....

Looks beautiful inside, love the lounge but I feel the van is a little quirky. Bathroom is very small (at this price bracket) washbasin in the bedroom not happy with that could see me banging my head whilst brushing my teeth. I don’t like having to remove toilet cassette through the awning. Build looks granite like, love the rear styling.

Thanks for your comments Colin, I do know what you mean with the bathroom but I must admit I don’t use our van facilities really so it is a little wasted space for me so do prefer it being smaller also you would have to remove any toilet tissue if you did have a shower as it’s like a wet room really. I also agree with the toilet cassette but also I wouldn’t be keen on the fridge exhaust gasses in the awning also. I must say it did feel premium all round but probably not really the exact layout we would be looking at. What do you think about a 40k van in the U.K. if it ticked all your boxes ? Yay or ney?

Great review but it doesn't seem as practical or as well thought out as the Isonzo, and for half the price!!. Not a fan of the shower / toilet layout at all. Keep up the good work guys.

Sorry, I don't like it :-( Number of things for me: weight, cost, styling, door on wrong side, lol and electric in awning and terrible washroom/bedroom sink! At that price I'd want a fully lined shower too!
