The original song was made by an American composer, and was sung by a choir in Hollywood, the lyrics with broken Russian, but still sounds great. The song would be sung way better in actual Russian by the Red Navy Choir, not the Red army choir to clear up some things in the comments.

although I really love that track from another video here on YT: the lyrics are pretty much complete garbage and a pretty poor translation of something original written in english ... when "correctly" translated to carry over the intented meaning instead of word-by-word dictonary the lyrics wouldn't fit the rythm of the score it'S like scrambling us anthem a few times using different languages with google translate also: way to many women in this one - this one was written to be sung by a men-only choir ... just sayin - no offense

It’s not out of tune at the beginning. It’s the score.
@cryptearth4 жыл бұрын
@@syltconductor in fact - I analyzed this very video (or its audio track for that matter): I can'T tell if it'S the re-compression of youtube - but at least one of the flutes is indeed out-of-tune of its supposed note - its ever so slightly too high - but could also be just the recording (e.g. bad quality of mics or not-so-great recorder) - nevermind: it's an out-of-tune dissonance - could also maybe on purpose (yes, in orchastral compositions there'Re in fact on-purpose-de-tunings due to how modern 12-halfstep-chromatic tuning and overall harmonics works - it sounds just right if all instruments play on full blast - but can sound out-of-tune when only a single instrument is played on only low-/half-pressure like a flute - it'S kinda like the inverse like when you hit a guitar string too hard: it end up sound too high at first as it swings faster than what it's tuned to - which is kind of analog-distortion by de-tune on purpose cause when hitting a slightly lower tuned string too hard it swings at just the right frequency - often combined with low-level limiters which cut off the not-so-loud parts when the string becomes more silent during its swing) so - yes, the score has this distinct starting - but this very video isn'T the best recording of it ...

Ngl there are too many women in the choir, doesn’t sound original, and I play clarinet and bass clarinet, and in 6th grade I was in better tune than these pretenders. Conductor needs a new job too, way to slow of a tempo. This is basically insulting me, as a lover of the movie.
