*PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT ENTIRELY* Christian don't need to fasting like Muslims do, because good work doesn't save us. If a man stands in front of a judge because he did something wrong. Then this man said, _"I will promise to do good things! Please make me free."_ You know what, *that promise will not save him from the punishment.* The problem is, this man is already doing something wrong. The things that he promised to do a good work is other matter. It doesn't make him free from the punishment. He needs someone to *substitute him* in order to make him free. We all know that we already sinned in Eden (Adam is our representative) and our good works have not saved us. Because of that, we need a redeemer. And the Redeemer is Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Then, *BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS, AND YOU WILL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD!* Shalom from Indonesia. 🇮🇩✝️

@smadge100 Yes, you can still find assembies of believers who are gathered in the name of the Lord Jesus in different localities. They simply obey the new testament teachings in the book of Acts and Epistles. They have the old fashion hymns and no musical instruments but singing in their hearts in worshp. The building they gather are often called Gospel Hall or Gospel Chapel.

@@sterlingteall3462 The sacraments are celebrated in the church's smadge mentioned. They are celebrated as well in all the churches of Eastern Orthodoxy and "Oriental "Orthodoxy. Roman Catholicism delivers peace within? Tell that to the victims and their families. Tell that to the police and authorities who confirm your church slipped priests away to other countries to hide them from justice. Worry about your own soul and learn too the turmoil within your own denomination. We'll take care of ourselves thank you very much! I think about when John saw Our Lord in Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. and he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not; I am the first and the last: John had leaned on the Lord the night of the Last Supper (or Passover meal) and now he saw him in His glorified form and he fell down before Him (as we all shall) but Jesus put his right hand onto his should and told him not to be afraid.

That is not acceptable worship before the true God. The true worshippers of The only True GOD can & will worship Him alone, without mixtures, by & in Spirit & in Truth. God is a jealous God. He won't share His glory with any woke ideology or another religion or false gods or the liberal or woke multi-faith one-world-NWO antichrist religion. We must serve the Living & only true God through Jesus Christ. So it matters what faith you're in to worship the only True GOD who is the Biblical God, of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob in Christ Jesus as He will not join in such idolatrous arrangements where any/all kinds of religions worship the only True God, while serving their idols or their religious gods.

It is very hard for protestants to admit the truth about the Bible but the truth is truth and this is history. The so called royal family live in luxury and wealth while seeing people go to food banks. Its a hoax and makes no sense. From Pope Francis The whole World should be praying this right now ... I stopped what I was doing, bowed my head and said this prayer. It put tears in my eyes Let’s bow our heads and pray:🙏🙏🙏 Eternal Father, You made the whole World stop spinning for a while. You silenced the noise that we all have created. You made us bend our knees again and ask for a Miracle. You closed Your Churches so we will realize how dark our World is without You in it. You humbled the proud and powerful. The economy is crashing, businesses are closing. We were very proud, we thought that everything we have, everything we possess, was the result of our hard work. We have forgotten that it was always Your grace and mercy that made us who we are. We’re running in circles looking for some cure to this disease, when in fact we need to humble ourselves and ask You for guidance and wisdom. We’ve been living our lives like we will be here on Earth forever, like there’s no Heaven. Maybe these trials are Your mercy in disguise. Maybe this virus is actually Your way of purifying us, & cleansing our souls, bringing us back to YOU. Today as these words travel the internet, may all who see them join their hearts and hands together in prayer! Asking for forgiveness & asking for healing & protection from this virus... GOD just wipe it from the Earth! Father You have been patiently waiting for us. We’re sorry for ignoring Your voice.. and in our selfish ways, we've sometimes forgotten that YOU are GOD!😔 You only need to say the word and our souls shall all be healed. We ask these things in Jesus name! ... Amen 🙏🙏🙏Prayer for all🙏🙏🙏 KEEP SHARING..

Sorry but the Pope is a heretic, Jesus Christ said "You must be born again," and of those who did not believe in Him "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies." The Bible is clear their are children of God, who are made so by faith and repentance in Jesus Christ, and those who are children of the devil, dead in their sins. I don't write this to shame you, but to warn you, the Vatican is corrupt and according to the Council of Trent - Canon 9, " If anyone says that the sinner is justified by faith alone, meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification, and that it is not in any way necessary that he be prepared and disposed by the action of his own will, let him be anathema. They deny salvation is by faith alone, therefore they do not represent Jesus Christ or His gospel, which alone allows one to call God by "Father".

This song reminds of long ago when I was a child , I had to attend two churches on Sunday morning, the first church would be the Methodist church with my dad who was Methodist and the second was with my mom and grandmother who were staunch Pentecostal christians. My gran and dad died years ago but my mom is still alive to God be the glory. I just sat there reminiscing and crying because I miss them soooooo much. I thought that they would still be here with us when I was a child growing up.

I am dedicating this song to my sister. May your soul rest in peace! . I listened to the song this morning and feel refreshed. Love the descount part!
@ianminty95405 жыл бұрын
It is a "descant" and not a "descount". A descant is a counterpoint melody to the main melody and is usually sung in an upper range compared to the main melody. Descants are common throughout English choral music and there are many hymns where more than one descant has been composed. A descant is particularly moving when sung by the pure unchanged voices of a boys choir such as that of Westminster Abbey or St Paul's Cathedral. Descants are also sung, to lesser effect, by mature female sopranos because of the inevitable vibrato of the trained voice.

Praise God For Blessing The Queen and Her Church especially the Church of England Choir and Classical Hymns that have resounded throughout the world. I wish to share my testimony of how I have crowned Jesus as my King the Joy i have experienced since a Kid at 3 years old though I never attended a church till i was 29. I was physically abused from young by my alcoholic dentist dad who would put on me his difference with my mom whom he would not abuse as she walked out of our home frequently with my 3 siblings and leaving behind with my dad. I would suffer from 5 years old till I was in Grade 10. He would come home at 12 midnight sharp and my hell would start till 1 am. However, on Sundays we would not go to church, for he would ironically teach me music through these classical Hymns. My dad was a conductor of the Fiji School of Medicine Choir in the mid 1950s so he had the Solo & Sankey, Handles, and a collection of Britain's most popular classical Hymns Music Notations and Tonic Solfa books, so he would every Sunday teach me the music notations and tonic solfa of each of these profound classical hymns and tell the history behind each these hymns. He by this time of my birth had become an alcoholic for their mismatch with my mom so we would spend Sundays just teaching me these hymns and Jesus story though an alcoholic Dentist 6 days a week and in the night we would star gaze. These Hymns would be my refuge in my pain of broken ribs, or hands, shoulders or legs from beatings each night. They were automatically the numbing of my pain every night 6 days a week of physical abuse. So this is one of the many classical Hymns have influenced me to remain steadfast in Him. He is King to me as for He had been born to minister to me from the Cross, Resurrection and as He Ministers as my High Priest in Heaven. Little did I know that at 29 i would attend church and become a SDA Pastor at 39 years old but resigned at 41 to be a self supporting ministry for poor indigenous land and resource owners for free. At seminary as I learnt of how the Saints did not revolt against being tortured as Steven saw Heaven during his stoning by the order of Saul later Saint Paul, I then understood the mechanics of these Hymns numbing my dreadful pains of broken bones and as I grew into a strong young man would carry one whole tree of Mahogany Tree in our Farm as we cleared, I never had any spirit of revenge on my dad nor did i ever had a grudge. I then, realized the Power of Classical Hymns. So these Hymns have one common objective in my life, Praise to my Creator and Redeemer. So this is one of my emotional hymns of Praise to what Jesus has done to my life. Below is why I crown Him my Redeeming Attorney/Lawyer & Judge and Soon Coming King........ "Malie! [Praise] Hallelujah King Jesus Creator, Redeemer, My Lawyer [1 John 2:1,2] & Judge [John 5:22,21,23,24,27,28] which makes Judgment the Most Important Doctrine to a Dreadful Chief of Sinner such as I am but saved by His Unmerited Grace and Mercy thus making This Soteriological Truth of Judgment to me as relevantly Joyful and not dreadful as most portray. Judgment is The Eternal Gospel as stated in Revelation 14:6-1398 as Jesus Ministers in the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly Sanctuary as The High Priest simultaneously vindicating me as my Lawyer and Judge. That makes Saint Paul's Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. That is the reason I have crowned Jesus LORD God Creator and My Redeemer as my King and LORD God for not even Judgment cannot be against me for He is My Judge as i have stated above in John 5:22 et al for He Himself is my Attorney and Prophet Daniel stated that Judgment vindicates His Saints but condemns those who are against The Judge [Jesus The LORD Creator and Redeemer]. So praise God for such hymns my dad taught me as young as 3 years old though I never attended church till I was 29 as a baptized Christ Disciple . Praise God for this Awesome Hymn through this Choir and Church, Hallelujah King Jesus Son of Eternal Father God

Amen. Especially the prophetically hopeful part that says :"let the amen, sound from His people again..." it's emotional for me, thinking about dedicated God fearing Bible teachers/preachers/disciples of Christ like Surgeon, JC Ryle, John Bunyan, Wigglesworth, the Wesley brothers (family), George Muller, etc ...& modern day steadfast & godly men like late Derek Prince, late David Pawson, etc, and there are a few still living who are boldly preaching righteousness today, though unpopular... It's prophetic, considering the writer's life/story, and more specifically the slow death of the true Christian faith in Britain today which the English prophets of old predicted ...and also the late David Pawson, who sorrowfully was overwhelmed with the prediction that the Christian faith in Britain will be replaced with Islam...a Habakkuk punishment from God to revive the sleeping & complacent Christian remnant...what the political agenda the MSM, is selling to sensitive the public to forget the Christian faith, by reporting dying or slow death of Christianity...that people are no more interested while Islam continues to grow...that's shy it's a hopeful prayer for me even I sing that past, hoping & praying that time will come again in Britain, when the sound of the "amen" will be heard from the lips of the saints from inside the church buildings....if by then, there are few but left after the predicted Islamic & idolatrous invasions. And the other hymn titled: "To God Be The Glory Great thing He hath done..." I love this one too. Blessings ..

This is done in England too, I use to sing this in school, I went to a Catholic school, I was always the one kid who wouldn't pray or sing the hymns just to be defiant, but it's now, years later into adult hood that I can now appreciate this music. I'm not religious, but this was my childhood and it also makes me feel a sense of community, especially in these times of chaos and division. it feels good to finally feel some sense of belonging listening to this. Religion and culture tie in, to believe in God is to be ignorant of the world but at the same, to believe in God is the embodiment of the phrase. 'Ignorance is bliss' Religion and psychedelics. You will meet God, but you will find that God is really in you, only you know the right path, no one else. Religion has its roots in hallucinogenic mushrooms, if you want to meet God then you need to go to the pagan roots of religion, he is there. Pagan gods were literally men who ate raw meat (Aajonus Vonderplanits) and took hallucinogenic mushrooms (the roots of relgion).
