Had goosebumps throughout the video. As an achens son who was brought up mostly outside Kerala and India, I have had a lot of struggles learning Malayalam. By God's grace I had wonderful parents who would take their time to explain words I did not know (Still does). As I understood the rich and indepth theology and ancient biblical truths in our Liturgical texts, more than being glad ,I was quite worried. I was worried and still am, because a lot of our Diaspora Youths are yet to understand the richness of this Ancient Faith. Even for the Qurbana Kramam, we had bad and incomplete translations till the Singapore version was released a few years back. Our Sheema (Book of Daily prayer or the 7hours) is not translated, None of Feast Days and Fast Days are translated. May this be a start of beautiful and complete translations of the Mar Thoma Liturgies which would enlighten all our Diaspora Youth. I praise God for Sibu Pallichira achen. As a Masters student of the Syriac Language, Pallichira achen was my first Malpan (Syriac Teacher) who taught me the alphabets and basic reading. God Bless the singers and the instrumentalists. Appreciate all the efforts by Achen and his team. We were able to learn and sing all of the 11 chants at the Christos Marthoma Church, Philadelphia, yesterday (Good Friday 2023) for the first time and it was a blessed service.

No words to speak, a great effort by our Pallichira achen to equip the youth. At a time when many people say the youngsters of today are not interested in liturgy and the church this will help them get connected with the liturgy and with the church. Lack of teaching and influx of protestant, liberation, crisis and prosperity theology by the reamants of the old KN Daniel era and the new group of atheists achens, have been a cancer for this church. Hope God will help this church by his Grace. God bless all those who have taken an effort in the making of this.

You can't use K.N. Daniel as a "scapegoat" to blame where the Marthoma church is today. The reality of the matter is that the Marthoma denomination was the first "schism" to break away from the Malankara Church. Abraham Malpan and the Palkunnathu family accepted the British view of theology through the Anglican (Protestant) lens. As a result, Malpan rejected the Syriac Orthodox Christian teachings and instead, accepted the Anglican doctrine of the British. Still today, the Marthoma church is within the Anglican communion. I'm an ex-Marthomite. When I learned of the truth and started seeing "liberal" ideologies creep in, I made a decision to leave. Also, after experiencing the rich and FULLNESS of the Syriac tradition within the Mother Holy Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, I finally understood what the Divine Liturgy is and it's holiness. True Syriac tradition is from the Syriac Orthodox (Jacobite) Church itself. The other Churches that practice the full Syriac tradition without any alteration is the Malabar Independent Syrian Church, Malankara Catholic Church and the Malankara Orthodox Church. They never reworded/revised, watered down or modified the Syriac tradition, prayers and Divine Liturgy in any way. Only the reformist Marthomites did so to adhere to Protestant theology. Don't kid yourself.
