I’ve done everything you showed in your first video because my spring stopped working. The key was just loose and hanging. I spin the spring around before putting it in with the lid on but it’s still not working. Is there supposed to be some little pin or something that locks it in place when the key is flipped up? This is driving me nuts

Thank you for the update. I have changed my old key shell to and by mistake I could not see the tiny chip, so I have assembled everything and have thrown away the old shell, obviously with this essential chip. My question now is, do i have any changes to order one of such chips from AliExpress and copy from my spare key the code? I just try to avoide to go to the car shop. I would like to do it by myself. I appreciate your support if you have any ideas for me for this project. I have i20, 2011 model too.Many thanks in advance.
