This anime masterpiece deserves another a season. News is that author has started on volume 7 which will allow the anime season to have around 12 episodes. Now we only have to hope that a season 2 is annouced. Hopefully another director takes over the legacy of the director that made this series. Why did Kyo ani had to get set on fire.

Guys the anime does not have enough source material to work with that is the main reason. The anime covered 1-4 volumes out of the 6 volumes in Hyouka and the author just resently started on the 7th. Second the director died in the kyo animation fire so they need to find another one that will take his/her place. When the 7th volume is finished there is a small chance for another season giving the second season around 12 episodes.
