Guys I loved that they played and recorded all this for the first time and without having seen any gameplay previously. It was great to see their genuine shocked reactions and the way they were rediscovering the game and especially Vergil. I saw everything the same day that the special edition was released because I have no way of being able to have the game or the consoles (I'm poor) haha but I really enjoyed watching them play without having any idea of anything! :D P.s: I also loved the comic you're talking about.. hopefully in dmc6 we know about Nero's mother ..I NEED IT! ♥

Man, your reactions in this playthrough were just absolutely golden. A really fun watch. Looked like you had a shitton of fun making it. I really liked an idea I had for Vergil's weapon's back when we only knew about Yamato: A "Wulf's Edge" and a Urizen themed weapon. The Wulf's Edge would have needed to have a crapload of inputs, but basically the idea was to combine most of Beo's and Force Edge's important moves into one, through a gauntlets and greaves weapon with transforming blades attached... It could have worked somehow lol And the Urizen based weapon instead of being gauntlets like many other people have suggested before me, I would have instead liked to be a tentacle weapon. With various wide swings and combos and possibly even grabs, as well as spells on certain inputs. Stuff like Urizen's fireballs, or the exploding pillars coming out of the ground. It would have let them repurpose a whole bunch of previous work but turn it into something that was completely original for Vergil himself. But meh, I am fine with the way he is now in this game tbh Personally not too sure what to feel about this bossfight just yet by the way. I think he's for sure one of the most fun in the entire series, but I can't tell whether I enjoy him more than Vergil. There is certainly more variety, but also a lot more stuff where you are forced into the defensive, whereas against Vergil with good timing and knowledge of your abilities you could turn pretty much every situation in your favour. Plus not a fan of how M20 Dante mostly uses Kalina and Cerb instead because a ton of his stuff has super long animations in a way that doesn't look super stylish. And while his royal revenge is a lot fairer than him doing releases like in 4 (Since in 4 if you touch him that can mean potential death) it's also kinda a lot less badass looking than him just suddenly exploding through you and killing you in an instant. He should probably have had access to release in DT or something, but nevermind. I like this boss either way, kust feel he could be improved. Sorry for my endless rambling, don't feel forced to read it all and write a reply B]

That's what I want for Vergil, different types of weapons that do different stuff. I love Beowolf and Force Edge but I want something new for Vergil! Hopefully we'll see that in the future.

@@Bray880 What I liked about my idea is that you'd still be keeping the old (or most of it at least), while adding new tools to play around with. Especially if Doppelganger had weaponswitching it could have been really cool making it set up a big Urizen fireball or something the like in the background as you yourself protect it from other enemies that are trying to stop it. We shall see what future games bring, I guess

​@@3lmanuuu people play DMC for its diverse and stylish gameplay. which is only possible with multiple weapons and techniques. those combo videos look good because they utilize multiple weapons and techniques. new weapons and style are needed to keep the gameplay fresh. i dont understand when people say vergil dose not need more weapons or styles because he is op or lore wise. well they can choose to play with just one weapon and let others have more that's what i think.
