Lmao I remember that Ceres nukefest at the beginning! I remember flying in on a Valk with ~45 seconds left in the alert and just watched the nukes fall. Such a fun alert!

They need to put their time and energy into revamping the game engine. EVE did it a decade ago and look how well they're doing. They're also much more involved with their community.

Forget the Hype. What new player is going to stick around when you have to toggle the missions button just to see if you are capping a base? DBG need to get their priorities straight and spend the money to fix the game

The question is, as you more eloquently put it than I will in a previous video: How to make a game, of which is meant to feel fair, about war, of which is meant to be inherently unfair, feel fair without loosing the premise of continent scale war while also maintaining player quality and quantity as acceptable advantages. I don't know how you do one with the other, but the usage of bastion fleet carriers is akin to any real world analog taking an air carrier to war; multiply force to gain an advantage.

Holy cow last seconds of that alert, just want to let folks know. My science of OS positioning, place it where it'll buffer their route to the base, further away from your ideal point to grab versus their spawn which makes them have to cover more ground. I like to think of there being like an extra meter of the OS strike where the whiplash does good enough repel effect as not many would be a LA... HOPEFULLY. And if they pull maxes, well a OS is a good nanite eater for them. As you can see, Cyrious was just hiding underneath a "tent" to show... buildings are quite effective on surviving an OS. xP If it is placed too close to your ideal point, you'll be slightly holding back your push as well as getting that danger close friendly fire. R.I.P. Sorry allies!

My main problem with Escalation (besides the obvious downsides) ist that it - just like the NSOPs update - promised something that absolutely didnt happen. And that is the improvement of tactical outfit gameplay. The war assets, mainly vehicle drops, are so rare on the battlefield and platoon drops are totally redundant since you can respawn everywhere all the time. (The issue with NSOPs was that the robots were supposed to balance faction overpop which they did continentwise but nothing changed concerning area overpops!!)

How the hell arent you dying in the first 30 seconds? Does the orbital strike deal 90% less damage if you got roof over your head? I swear I can be outside at the very edge of the explosion circle and still die, although its not from the explosion but I get sent flying into a wall and die lol
