I am new to the game (and 1st TCG). Hyper-aggro is the easiest play style for me to understand. I’m playing around with another style, but I find myself going back when I get frustrated. I’m glad this latest set buffs up hyper aggro a bit. I need to play more and watch more like this, thank you for this video!

This list is def close to mine. Gathering Knowledge though is so important as a finisher. Just 2 ink gain 2 is such a huge advantage in the later game when you need that reach that another creature just doesn't really provide. I can consistently win on turn 5 which feel great. Real painful matchups are the aggro steel decks that run hook and the weird red decks that are hyper focused on just killing our decks.

Simba still ranks as one of the best secondary plays to me. I still love a 1 drop into Pinocchio or Piglet into Donald but if they have a 1 drop I love the ability to drop a simba on turn 2 for sure 😁

@@TheInkCast totally agreed! Here’s my factor to play simba or not: do they have a threat on the board or are in ruby? If they don’t, I don’t play simba. If they do, I play simba to guard on the rush or crack back.

I've seen a few of these decks with such minor differences in card choices that it really comes down to how you pilot it and what you draw. BUT, I will say, it's quite the feeling to have reached 20 lore by turn 4! Lol

I played a toned down hyper aggro on Ursula'd championship and ended in the middle of the table. Not bad for my first tournament ever hahaha I'm hoping that with the new shimmering Skies cards I can end a little bit better. Let's hope other decks don't have time to armour themselves against Hyper aggro thou... 😢

I feel the baloo is definitely better than the one that just gives you 2 lore. If you bring it out, it’s almost 100% of the time going to get you 2 lore. If your opponent kills it when you bring it out, then at least it saved one of your small fries from being banished meaning it’ll be able to tap for 2 more lore next turn meaning that now that baloo just got you 4 lore. If they don’t kill it then it can tap for 1 extra every turn till they kill it or if that’s too slow, you just ram it into something to kill it yourself if needed. I’d definitely run all 4!

Oh, and wile I enjoyed the Pinocchio, I found that the windy ended up being more helpful instead. It was ink when I needed and that 3 toughness made it a lot harder to deal with since it can’t be swordsed or fired on with cannons.

Befuddled ended up being a real powerful card in my playtesting. If you go first you play your one drop, they play theirs, you bounce theirs and get to tap free from worry and then play another one drop. You can also bounce your Daisy if she has too much damage to save her like a Mack shift Mim.

Oh, the chromacon ended up being one of the most important cards when I played with the deck. It keeps you from running out of cards and consistently putting at least 2 characters out a turn. This is very important what the deck can be easily board wiped. Who cares if your opponent draws more if you win before they can use it. Also, it feels great to use Daisy and she sends under the sea or grab your swords to the bottom of the deck! Just wanted to add that.

I just wish it had a better chance OTP. In a BO2 format, DLC's, it just doesn't hit the mark because it will go 1-1 so often. I hope we see more agro in the future though.

I wasn't a fan at first of giving them cards but the upside is it will remove a potential damage action/song from the top of their deck.

Amber Amethyst is a horrible hyper aggro deck and does not do well past locals events where people are playing either non competitive or optimized deck.

I would agree with that thought. I think it can steal you some wins early, but in a room full of competitive players they will most likely have answers or a good mulligan in game 2-3 to slow you down enough.

This deck is overrated I think
