Lemon! Looks great. Not heard of Adobe Dimension but keen to have a play with it. Used to use 3D studio max many years ago on a PC but since my job changed I’ve not really tinkered with 3D. This looks like a fun option to try out. Cheers for the demonstration! 👍🏼

lemon party It would be cool to see some more practical examples of this. Maybe something like a physical sign hanging on a wall. In other words, the process of combining a 3D render with a 2D photo and adjusting the lighting to match.

🍋I've been playing with 3D inside illustrator for a long time (since they released the feature) but I gotta say, adding Dimension into your workflow was genius. I'm a Blender enthusiast so I never even remember about Dimension but now you've opened my eyes. Thanks for yet another awesome video Will. You really put out a lot of good content.

Great videos, Will! This technique is great for logos and custom art! FYI, if you need just type, you can create 3D type in Dimension without using illustrator. Also, unfortunately here in the U.S., Dimension is getting phased out in favor of Adobe Substance 3D which really sucks. Dimension is REALLY fun.

That's a great tutorial. Thank you very much will. I have two questions which you may or may not have time to answer. Firstly, how do I create a template so that I can change the text object but everything else remain the same? Secondly, the reflection on the brass balls (boom boom) are quite harsh. Is there a way to tone them down without changing the lights which otherwise work great for the other objects?

there is no inflate option on my menu.. Now what? When I go to Effects > 3D, I only have Extrude & Bevel, Revolve & Rotate. Yet another Tutorial I can't follow as my screen or apps never match the Instructors. And they don't specify Application version or Platform. Guess I won't be doing Simple 2 minute 3D effects today
