I'd love to see a sonic game where he could tap into some forms he's obtained through out the series on the fly. Stuff like super, hyper, maybe darkspine (but that would require explanation) just maybe as an anniversary thing to show how far sonic as come. Doesn't have to be just sonic either. Do you think Sonic strength is his own or is he pretty much one with the Chaos Force? All iterations of Sonic have been said to be born with natural blue fur and the ability to have limitless speed, but absorbing the power rings for years have changed his physiology to take on more chaos-laced rings, become a glutton for punishment from higher tier enemies like Mammoth Mogul, Metallix, Restrained Enerjak to Super Scrouge and countless of Eggmans close attempts to victory to even activating the Super Form without the aid of emeralds. I can see Chaos Hakai happening as the Chaos Force from what Archie describes is an entirely separate infinite dimension powered to the brim with this chaotic energy, the only thing connecting Sonic's realm or any realm to the Chaos Force is the Master Emerald which powers the Chaos Emeralds/Sol Emeralds directly across space/time to do the broken feats it can such as manipulating smaller dimensions reality and time.
