If Super Sonic from 06 & generations can resist being erased by Solaris & time eater and defeated them who can be scaled to complex multiversal-outerversal then Hyper Sonic who would be unfathomably leagues beyond stronger now could resist being erased by Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet w/gems. Didn't Sonic survive a whole multiverse exploding by Alf Wa Layla? Also make more matchups like this where Game Sonic face different people from different verses.

Technically speaking : The infinite stones are useless if they are outside the universe they were created, so pretty much sonic would beat thanos in most of scenarios, as for the astral regulator, we dont really know if it can affect people from outside the marvel multiverse (overall that was a pretty good animation chief)

Ultra\Archie Sonic’s Power is just *his* own stats, seeing who it can affect just requires knowledge about the other opponents’ stats, and seeing if it compares.(90% of the time it doesn’t) The Astral Regulator affecting everyone in the Marvel Universe shows that-well- it can affect everyone in the Marvel Universe. It’s something that 1 Shots everyone, not something he himself has a skill, so comparing it to other opponents stats wouldn’t make sense. If there were some ppl in the Marvel Comics that survived the attack, and didn’t get affected at all, then it could be comparable because we know it depends on the opponents stats, but if it kills everyone in the Marvel Universe, then there’s no way to know that it can affect anyone outside of the Universe.

I can kinda agree and I actually thought that at first because the stronger sonic gets the stronger all his forms get as well, so a current sonic would put up a decent fight to Thanos and maybe even make him struggle but let's consider all of the powerful people Thanos has faced like Living Tribunal, Galactus, Dr. Doom, the Phoenix force, and other high tier entity cosmic forces, and survived and even won some of those encounters, so you have to consider that in as well, plus Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet and Abstract Regulator to absorb literally anything in the universe so there's that as well, even though the Infinity Gauntlet will not work on Sonic because he can resist those haxes and over come them imo, he took on people like Solaris, Time Eater, Infinite, and Alf Wa Laya Layla and won against them, who destroyed and busted entire universes/dimensions just by transforming. Chaos Energy is unlimited/limitless, it's up the power of the wielder's imagination. I don't know too much about the Abstract Regulator tho.

Plus, we got to remember that Sonic grows stronger as time passes. Sure enough, ten years later, Sonic fought Infinite a being who previously nearly killed Sonic without breaking a sweat. Granted, he did have some help from the clones, but after a six month time-pass, Sonic had a one-on-one rematch with Infinite. While Sonic did stand a better chance, Infinite still beat him fairly easily. It was only with the help of the rookie that Sonic finally won. In order for ANY of that to be possible, Infinite's power must be LEAGUES above that of Erazor Djinn's. Now, you could make the argument that the strongest thing Infinite did was create a star which weakened him, but you have to remember that he not only regained his full power halfway through the fight but also was maintaining an entire army of clones of Shadow, Metal Sonic, Zavok, and Chaos 0. The game outright states that, while not the real deal, the clones are just as powerful as the originals. So when you factor in Zavok being maybe country level, Chaos 0 being around building or city level, and Shadow and Metal Sonic being able to match Sonic in power, that's a LOT of power Infinite's generating all at once. And ALL of this isn't even factoring in Sonic's Super and Hyper forms. So yeah, Thanos may be incredible, but Sonic is just several times beyond him.
