Hyper Tough 12 Volt Drill Tested and Demonstration

Picked up one of these 8 or so years ago. Not marked any price on the shelf, I used the in-store scanner and it was only $5. Works fine for my needs. Mine's red though, so it goes faster.

I mean for a $20, it does plenty. For 45 the brushless one is worth the upgrade. The 12v rotary tool also seems to be great

I have drills from other brands but for work i use these hyper tough, impact drill 20v and normal one 12v and even the small one. I thought they wouldn't last at all but I've been with them for 2 years now.

These are so cheap even if people have an 18 volt platform already. Its almost like a knock off milwaukee m12 drill but its only 20% of the cost. Perfect if you have alot of overhead work and you need a lighter drill, or your working in a condition that you wouldnt want your nicer tools in. Id definitely be interested in seeing some of amazons 8-12 volt drills versus this. Some even come with Usb C charging, very convenient.

What you said about the price difference is very true. My opinion is that for 99 percent of us normal non-tradesmen the difference is not worth the price difference. The Milwaukee also has one more attachment for getting very close to a wall or ceiling and still being at 90 degrees.... but I am old I never needed that in my lifetime... so the hyper tough is good enough for me. But a professional (such as a cabinet maker or installer) would probably miss that 3rd attachments. I have about 5 or 6 more Hyper Tough videos coming up... but after that I am thinking about comparing them to some cheap amazon products.... Ahem ....20bucks! I got it for pilot holes so I don't hav to change bits on my m12 or dewalt ,for the price it prolly don't even need a review

Thank you for the comment.... Yes!! Many many typos!!! Starting a few videos ago I made it a point to cut and paste every bit of text into a word processor to catch most of the typos..... not 100 percent, but vastly better than the first 5 or 6 videos I did!! Thank you again for the comment!!!
