Good eye! I believe this was shot with a Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro which shoots at a max of 60fps... it was selected by our cinematographer because of its higher dynamic range than other similar priced cameras... however as you noted it comes with a trade off of not offering super slow motion. This was shot in the bright sunlight of a dried lake bed desert and we wanted to make sure we could avoid overblown skies or underexposed subjects. Cheers Düfek Films!
