Yes they do. The control section in Mackie mode automatically maps to the mixers volume, panning, and solo/mute. I don't see much use in this however, since you have such a small travel time on the faders, furthermore the screen on the Code is too small and crude to really make out what's happening, you have to look at the computer screen anyways to see what's going on. Generic links, and controller links will not be removed if you switch to Mackie mode, they will just become inactive for as long as it is enabled.

I cannot find a new link for these editors, it seems M-Audio has removed all official support for these keyboards, which is a shame. If you look into your keyboard manual there are ways to do everything I did here from the keyboard itself, but that will be very tedious and take a lot longer. Sorry.

You're welcome first of all! Concerning the encoders, I don't know if there is a way to permanently change their sensitivity, I've never felt the need to do that, so I cannot help you there. But if you do end up figuring it out, please let me know.

Check if the drums are permanently linked to an instance of FPC, that for some reason disables this feature in FL. If not, you have done the setup incorrectly, check your midi controller section in FL Studio, if that one is set up like in the video, check your code editor preset, if that is also set up correctly, contact Image Line support.

The sounds are from FL Studio. The M-Audio Code is not a synthesizer or electric piano, it is a keyboard controller, meaning it does not produce sound by itself, it controls other devices that do, in this case the plugins inside FL Studio.

Maybe you switched the bank for the sliders by accident? Also this part of the set-up is project specific so I recommend mapping everything out on a template project.

This could be caused by a few things, I suspect you started editing from a preset that has altered lights. Like any other parameter you can alter the lighting of the buttons different states as well as the states themselves from the editor. Have a look at those and compare everything in the editor to how it looks in the video.

So first things first, do the lights on your keyboard work? If no, have you checked if it is actually turned on? If it is, but there are no lights, the device is broken. If the keyboard does light up properly then the problem might be something else. If FL doesn't recognize it at all, it might be broken, test it out in another DAW if you don't have one, use Waveform Free it's free and works on all systems, if Waveform also doesn't recognize the keyboard, contact M-Audio customer support. If Waveform DOES recognize it, but FL still doesn't then contact Image Line support. I hope I could help you.

Yes I my lights on are, my keyboard accepts the presets and even shows the name of it when changed over. But whenever you’re in fl studio the little knob icon that lights up whenever a midi key is pressed isn’t lighting up for me. Are the ports of importance? I read something about it today saying certain ports correspond with the midi in certain ways and i plan on trying that later. Thank you for the reply

Click on view, remote control, and on the left a drop-down should open, there you should see the modwheel, select it and move the modwheel. If it doesn't show up, contact Image line support.

Please check if you have Midi In 3 enabled and set to Mackie Control Universal. If it still doesn't work, you're SOL there's unfortunately no way to map these buttons in FL Studio manually.

I have encountered this problem as well, I don't think there is a solution for that unless you wanna try your hand on midi scripting. If you manage to find a solution that way, please share the script with me. Wishing you luck.

Omnisphere should automatically work with aftertouch, go to FL Studio, view, remote control, and a little list on the left should open, where you have pitch wheel, modwheel and aftertouch, if those aren't there contact image line support, I have no idea what makes them show up or not these seem to be present only when they want to be.

You need an audio interface to solve this issue. Your motherboards soundchip and PCs sounddriver are not designed for real time midi processing, you need a dedicated soundcard. I recommend the Komplete Audio 6 but honestly any USB audio interface above $70 should be more than sufficient.

This works if you overwrite preset one, perhaps you saved it onto a different slot on your keyboard, try seeing if it ended up anywhere further up?

Hello, I can't get the (codus) preset from the preset editor on my code61. when I press the up arrow, it switches to PRE 2 (Preset 2) and when I press the down arrow it switches back to PRE 1 (Preset 1). Did you change the preset name in the preset editor top right? It sais "CODUS" for me because that's the name I gave my specific setup, I neglected to mention that. The functions you changed should still have applied.

There isn't a button for switching between pattern and song mode on the Code, unlike on some other controllers. Any idea if it is possible to link a button for it so I don't always have do the switch using my mouse?

Unfortunately these DAW controlls can for some reason not be assigned manually. Why Image Line chose to do it that way is beyond me. You may find a way to do it using midi scripting, but that whole process is so confusing and unintuitive that I have never tried it, perhaps you can find a script that allows you to map transport and navigation controls to midi events.

How to keep the screen Display fixed on to the Bank Display or fixed on until I touch another button/control for example. Mixing on the fly in CODE25 is a little problem where I want to switch banks for the next set of controls/faders etc I forget which bank I am in so I sometimes go from A2 into A3 instead of back to A1. You say MIDI 2 and 4 aren't important for FL Studio, but what are they used for?

In FL Studio they are free channels for midi notes and/or controller assigning, they do not have a predetermined function as far as I am concerned.
