Thanks for this review - I’ve been curious about this bottle. I think the weight and the fact that the water bottle doesn’t fit in most cup holders are pretty big draw backs, and the function of attaching the coffee thermos to the top while cool is a bit impractical in terms of holding the bottle due to the size. The best use case for this bottle to me would be for flying, or just traveling in general. I love the idea of having one compact thing to carry rather than two bottles in my carry on or suitcase while going through security - but once you pass the gate you can get your coffee and water. Day to day I think I’d use the two separately. Something I’ve noticed is the lid to the coffee thermos is different than in the videos on the website. It’s a simple slide mechanism in the videos on the webpage, but when you go to their accessories page you can see the lid is quite different (and from what I’ve heard not easy to use) One other thing to note, the cap accessory that can go on top or bottom doesn’t actually come with the bottle, you can buy it separately though.

ya they changed the design of the coffee cup lid, it used to be a simple line (MINUS SIGN) and they changed the design. Not all product photos were updated.

Lol, this is funny af. I have been waiting over 2 years to get mine as a backer in addition to being charged over $30 for shipping and they are already selling them and fulfilling orders on their website. I hope the bottle eventually arrives and lives up to the hype, but the Company themselves are bunch of scumbags.

"Barista approved" doesn't include 7-Eleven, I offered to pay for a large but they told me I needed to buy it with their cup (I'm thinking tracking sales or some other inventory control), so I went outside, transferred the coffee from their cup to my Hitch, then tossed their cup in the trash. Score one for the environment! /sarcasm

The tough part about this (it’s a criticism of marketing and what info is made available to consumers, not of you) is we get statistics in terms of how many paper cups are trashed and nothing on the impact of making these reusable bottles and their equivalent impact in similar units (in other words, what is the rough “paper cup count” in the manufacture of these. I mean I say this as someone who prides my stainless steel bottle I drink about a gallon of water from every day. I just want more real info and it’s hard to come across. The companies have incentive to provide it because it’s about “feeling” green as much or more than “being” green.

That's absolutely fair! I would think the creation, manufacturing but mostly transportation! Packaging, and after life of it which is pollution in a diff way must be worst than having a product like this and keep it for years! Especially if said company is also climate +

Would love to reduce my waste, too bad this company burned so many customers. Required extra shipping fees after already paying and still did not get the bottles after two years of waiting.

The project is seriously a failure.the design is not as what it previously shown in the advisement they shown. How they managed is also..... I waited for two years to get this bottle. It's much heavier compared to how much liquid it can hold. I am still using it trying to find some positive out of this product before I throw it away. But so far not any.

I just got mine yesterday...that weight is real omg...I can use it to work out lol. I think there is an opportunity missed because the price is so high. This product is definitely fun, if they had more colors and and it was $20 bucks cheaper, I would get all colors and interchange them. I used the cup separately without having the bottle with me and thar was convenient. I bought because my long times away from home. It seems to help for now

I got the product so I don't know if it's a scam.. it is a kickstarter not a full fledged product or it was at the time, I think now you can buy it. That's how kickstarters work... you back a project there is no guarantee and delays, are GOING to happen. This one was very delayed I think the pandemic was part of it

@@GadgetsGearCoffee I don't think asking for ransom money to get the product you paid for already is part of how Kickstarter normally works. I don't think leaking all your customers' personal data is how kickstarter normally works. I don't think selling the product in stores before any rewards have been fulfilled is part of how kickstarter works. I don't think lying about product specifications and being carbon neutral is part of how kickstarted works.
