Your interpretation/theory of Midnight Motorists is my personal head canon now, it actually makes more sense than a representation of Freddy's, because it doesn't confuse the timeline a lot more with multiple franchises colliding with each other. It just being a bar that he got wasted gives a clear reasoning to why he killed charlotte, to why he became a child murderer and its simple, which is much better.

In midnight motorist I think mrs. Afton is the one watching TV. The one in the room is Michael Afton. I think this is right after the crying child died, which made William Afton lose it. Starting to drink a lot (why he gets refused at the bar "jr's"). I think this is why the person watching TV says to "leave him alone". William blamed Michael for the death of crying child, which is why he is so angry.

I believe that, in the Midnight Motorist mini-game, the person sitting on the couch watching TV is Mrs. Afton, and Michael is actually the one who ran away. I can give more context on this theory if anyone would like me to. I mainly got this theory from someone else’s video, though. Nevertheless, great video! Though, someone did say it could mean even Michael would take issue with his father apparently about to beat C.C. He may go out of his way to scare and isolate his younger brother but he won't physically harm him. He and his friends did freeze in horror when Fredbear crushed C.C.'s skull, thinking just shoving him in the mouth would just frighten him. He even apologized. That said, I do like the idea of the gray text being Mrs. Afton since it could give William an actual reason for starting his killing spree, timeline-willing.

I have an alternate theory on Scraptrap’s design, the thing with his body is that hes made to have a 1. real(?) skeleton and 2. not an endoskeleton, not one thats visible at least. I think that’s a huge indicator to me, along with the fact that his name in FFPS wasn’t Springtrap (or Scraptrap), but simply “William Afton” Springtrap isn’t just a name, its an alter ego. Afton makes a whole point about treating Springtrap as a ‘character’ hes playing in The Twisted Ones, but then in TFC he removes himself from the suit, asking to use his human name once more. I believe something similar to this happened in the games, not 1-1 obviously (even if he doesn’t have an endo, hes obviously still in a Springbonnie suit for some reason.) but to me this makes most sense. FFPS and TFC have many parallels with one another, especially when it comes to names

I think a good unsolved mysteries video idea could be the sentience of Elizabeth Afton inside of Circus Baby. Since Sister Location, it's been well understood in the fnaf community that Elizabeth's spirit resides inside of Circus Baby, as she died inside of her. But one thing that's not really clear is if Elizabeth is conscious inside of Baby, and/or is in control of her. One thing for certain is that Baby's consciousness is still "awake." The person that talks to us throughout Sister Location is undoubtably Circus Baby, as she tells us the story of the day Circus Baby's Pizza World opened (and closed) and when she killed Elizabeth, and clearly describes "the little girl" as a separate entity from herself. This is entirely consistent throughout the game, even when we hear Elizabeth's voice during the Ennard boss fight. It's not actually Elizabeth speaking, it's Ennard (specifically funtime foxy, I think) using her voice to play with Michael's emotions to get him to let them in the office. We NEVER see Elizabeth controlling Circus Baby or Ennard herself. So WHY, before Henry's big speech at the end of FFPS, does Circus Baby speak as if she's Elizabeth? The whole "I will make you proud, Daddy!" spiel? Is it that she considers William her own father because he created her? If so, then why was she okay with using (what she assumed was) him to escape from Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals? It SEEMS to be implying it's Baby herself giving this speech, and not Elizabeth, because she's never used Baby's voice to speak to us before. And even if it's supposed to be that, when was that ever shown to us as a rule in the fnaf universe? That spirits have to use the voices of their respective animatronics to speak, and are able to control it? This entire situation/contradiction is very interesting to me and I think it would be interesting to hear your opinion on it.

There’s a great video on NotARealName’s channel talking about Circus Baby, but it was essentially retconned. FNAF 6 was supposed to be where the books and games merged somewhat. That’s why Henry appears out of nowhere and Baby acts the way she does. It doesn’t make sense either because Circus Baby doesn’t even LIKE William. She thinks Michael is William and did everything she did because she thought Michael was William! During the Fake Ending, she talks about William with a cold tone and clear despises him. It makes sense because she was tortured by him for years! It’s a shame because I really liked how Circus Baby was done. She’s not Elizabeth, she’s POWERED by Elizabeth. I love how she uses the fact that she’s powered by a dead kid to manipulate others! It’s a great part to her “helpless and pitiful” act. And that makes it SO MESSED UP. She’s literally uses the dead kid she swallowed to try and manipulate and murder the dead kids FATHER. In the Fake Ending, she literally uses Elizabeth’s voice (and we know it’s her because she’s the only one who met Elizabeth) to try and convince who she presumed is William to get killed! She literally says “Isn't this why you came here? To be with me again?”. THATS SO MESSED UP AND I LOW-KEY LOVE IT.

The Midnight Motorist theory makes so mutch more sense. I never liked the idea of Jr's being a Freddy's Location, with the green guy being henry. Because why would Henry kick William out of a Freddy's building at this point in the time line? Henry doesnt know that Charlie has died yet, since it just happened and her death was the whole reason he kicked afton out. Also why would Henry leave his daughter alone at one location while staying at another one? Wouldnt he bring charlie to the same location he is at?

For the graphic novels, im pretty sure the artist who draws the pages doesn't color the pages, scholastic does. That explains why the colors are inaccurate, such as springbonnies red bow tie and fredbear looking like golden freddy in the silver eyes graphic novel.

Here's my problem with Jr's and everyones theorizing around it: Fnaf Ultimate Guide calls out Jr.s as a restaraunt. From the tip of Scott's pen Jr.'s is not a bar. So anytime people use Jr's as a bar rationing he got drunk there, kicked out, and killed Charlotte, it's just immediately debunked by the fact it's a restaraunt not a bar. I don't understand why so many ignore that.

I theory I like for Midnight Motorist is it's following the aftermath of Crying Child's death- Mrs. Afton is the one watching TV, dissociated and apathetic. William gets drunk to drown his grief and becomes angry and abusive, eventually going over the edge and killing Charlie. The son in the room, then, is Michael, dealing with the guilt of the death and William's abuse. "That place" could be the hospital in C.C.'s final moments, or it could be his grave, maybe even someplace else but it's unclear. The footprints could potentially belong to some version of Golden Freddy, popping in and out of existence like we see in Fnaf 1 and to a lesser extent 2. Mixhael might see this, think it's C.C.'s ghost (ding ding ding) and have been drawn someplace by it. I feel like this theory actual provides some solid answers, motivations, and just make these characters feel a lot more real and their stories a whole lot sadder.

Two things, One, are you going to do an unsolved mystery of the order of deaths in the series (or even just when each individual event takes place)? My other question is related to a topic I was curious of your opinion on. And it has to do with Stage 01. The first main question is is it showing Fredbears or Freddy’s? But the main reason I asked for a video on it is because in Stage 01, where in one of the last scenes you can see a kid randomly go missing. We can also find out what suit was used to kill the kid. If you look at the eyes of Fredbear and Springbonnie, you’ll notice that Fredbears eyes are white and Springbonnies are yellow, implying that someone is using the Fredbear suit. Though I’ve heard some say that Springbonnie was the murder suit because the kid went missing when they were left alone with Springbonnie. So that would also need to be a topic to cover. Next is when the murder happens. The name could imply that the place is Fredbears due to the name Stage 01, but the 01 could also be saying that this kid died first. But then that would mean that this kid is either a “ZeroVictim”, or he is Sammy. The last thing to mention is that the next minigame, RXQs minigame, features Shadow Bonnie appearing in Stage 01. This could imply one of three things. Either A) this kid becomes Shadow Bonnie (I don’t think this is likely because AR and FF imply that they are made of agony), B) this kids murder created Shadow Bonnie (I also don’t think this is likely), or C) it’s just trying to show that Shadow Bonnie is based on Springbonnie. The last question is also “who does this kid become?”. I think it would be cool to get a video on it.

@@sunnyisabunny1479 we see imagery of Fredbear standing up in the fnaf 2, and Golden Freddy only appears on the night Phone Guy mentions the yellow suit being used, which IMO implies that William used Fredbear for the DCI and Springbonnie for the MCI. So IMO it’s possible that he just used both. Fredbear wasn’t in the saferoom at the time of Follow Me, so I wouldn’t use it as evidence for William liking Springbonnie better. So I think it’s entirely possible (and more likely) that Fredbear would be the suit used for Stage 01.

For Midnight Motorist I think this is the night of the Missing Children's Incident. In Spring Bonnie, William comes to this kid's house and leads him to Freddy's to kill him. The lump is the dog of one of the kids. The characterization of the yellow guy as a drunk driver and abuser is more to give a tragic backstory for this one kid. This kid in my opinion was the kid possessing Fredbear.

For your first set of questions: I've read from someone else that, even though Michael goes out of his way to scare C.C., he stops his bullying at outright physical abuse/harm. Yeah, he may not like his little brother but even he would have problems with his drunk father very probably going to beat on C.C. Remember, he put C.C. in Fredbear's mouth thinking it would be a harmless prank that would just scare him. He and his friends stop laughing *cold* when Fredbear crushed his brother's skull. He even apologizes to him while he's in a coma. TL;DR: Michael is/was a bully but he's not a monster.

So, I think the FNaF "Reboot" theory is incorrect as you pointed out in your video, but I also don't think anybody has made a video detailing the reason why the Indie Developer was put into the game in the first place. Yes, it's to make sure that FNaF VR is canon, but I also think it's a nod that some things from those original games may now no longer be part of the canon. It's not saying that the games AREN'T canon, but it's giving whoever writes the future installments the freedom to easily retcon anything from those original games simply by using the excuse of, "Those were made by that Indie Developer who was hired by Fazbear Entertainment to make stuff up."

The events happened but the way they are potrayed in the (first four) games might not be correct and the hauntings might be for flare is all MatPat was trying to say. Also the indie dev in the book resets his reality understanding and probably did finish the fourth game.

On the subject of the “grave” in Midnight Motorist: Circus Baby’s Pizza World opened up after at least the first Freddy’s closed (I think it’s between the first and second Freddy’s), according to HandUnit. Whether HandUnit is talking about Pizza World or Entertainment & Rental is irrelevant since the source code for the Gas Leaks teaser seems to imply Entertainment & Rental opened up shortly after Pizza World closed. Elizabeth died after the MCI. I think 1986. At least the first Freddy’s was open from 1983-1985. The second was open a few short weeks in 1987. And the third Freddy’s was open 1988-1993 (according to Special Delivery’s Faz-Facts). The first Freddy’s closed at the end of 1985, so Pizza World couldn’t have been opened yet. Late 1987 to Late 1993 was filled up, So Pizza World/Entertainment & Rental had to have opened up sometime in 1986 or early 1987. Edit: Just read the description, saying that you don’t believe Elizabeth is dead at this point. My bad.

But why would there be a kids party in a Freddy Fazbear's at midnight? We know from basically every game in the series that the night shift starts at Midnight, and by that time all of the other staff and patrons are gone, with everything set neatly for the following morning. Maybe more importantly, the murdered child was standing outside of a Freddy's location but the fnaf 1 location was confirmed to have closed in 1993, presumably in or around the year of the animatronic possessions. Phone guy in fnaf 2 stated that by 1987, Fredbear's Family Diner had already been gone for years at that point so the footprints outside of the window being Spring Bonnie's would be less likely. Also the bite of '83 which was when the crying child got bit would've been almost a decade earlier from the first murder outside of the fnaf 1 location. Also it's just not possible to say that the girl murdered in the puppet minigame and the child murdered in the Give Cake minigame are be the same person. The puppet does not exist in the fnaf 1 location, yet we know the Give Cake murder happens outside of the fnaf 1 location, so it would be very hard to say these instances were the same child being murdered, and makes it more likely that they were 2 seperate killings.

Hear me out. What if in Midnight Motorist the orange man is Micheal and he stoped at Jr’s (The bar) looking for his dad but was rejected because hes under age. He then went home and went into evans room because he knew william would be in there only to find the broken window and no william. Then in “later that night” we see william who is specifically purple where he kills charlie.

midnight motorist person watching tv is either the mother or Elizabeth, crying child would already be dead by the time he murders Charlie (in order for William to have motive), Michael is the one that's trapped and scared by spring bonnie that place is the bunker (before sl usage) where afton keeps watch on the house and on fredbears diner + Jrs (which is fnaf 1 location but with the withered)

I always had the idea that the Fazbear Frights series was canon in the games but the more I think about it, the more it complicates and doesn’t fit in. Some stories can match up to the games timeline but some don’t. The Fazbear Frights are a separate timeline but are made to serve the purpose of establishing FNAF’s rules. What is and what is not possible in the games as well. This is interesting because if this is the case, that means some characters such as Faz-goo may actually set up of what is possible in the games. While, this may not be the best choice because the Fazbear Frights series stories did get progressively worse but other characters such as Eleanor could represent someone with the same intention. Probably the reason why Eleanor looks like circus baby. It could represent circus baby in the games and that she may be a new villain to FNAF.

The rabbit footprints couldn't be William in the spring bonnie costume because in the minni game it is raining and if rain water comes within contact of the spring lock suit the suit will activate into its normal position without anyone in it and therefore killing anyone in it.

I agree with everything except for the point about gender, the sex of the voice actor doesn't matter if the character is directly referred to as male in universe. It's common practice to have women voice children, including boys.

tbh the whole reboot idea also comes from a very stupid assumption - that help wanted narrator just stright up tells you the truth. Like, aside of a meta joke on the game developer, and a commentery on how far the company can go to sweep the truth under the rug... think about the fact that maybe its in-universe propaganda game? its like "hey nothing wrong happened at freddies, heres a joke game so that you forget about those not real events". it does fit fazbear entertainment more than just telling the truth. plus also security breach confirms fnaf 6 still canon while fnaf 6 confirms the rest canon anyway, so i dont think the discussion should be here anymore. The fnaf HW opening was a meta joke plus a lie from the commenter, thats what i stand for

I love FNaF lore analysis, but the story pretty much breaks down as soon as Scott has to find a way to make Help Wanted canon (as he himself said, and you brought up in this video) and later on when Steel Wool gets most of the creative control in how they'll tell Security Breach's story, even with his involvement. I really don't know if making us question what really happened and what didn't was the best choice LOL seems like the complete opposite of the sort of thing you'd do in a series where the last two games you made were about closing up the main story. I don't know, I'm not interested at all about the "ugly costume Afton virus" story or "Springtrap was alive, actually" boss battle or any of that. The fact people naturally thought these were two separate timelines from how disconnected these stories are is really telling. I don't know, it just feels sad to see a bunch of creators who may be old or new to this sort of content making very well constructed videos talk about the original games and then have to also talk about why "Scrimblo Blimbo's messages matter in the story" or have to find out why Vanessa even does what she does in the first place because the game is so poor at communicating anything to you that it doesn't give you any valid reason as to why Gregory is so scared of her aside from later on with "she turns into an evil bunny for like, some reason."

30:00 In this instance I actually prefer the game theory explanation for what these 2 are. You have to remember that not eveything in a story is world building. While the story cannot exist without world building, sometimes too much of it can mean you've got and interesting story, but no one to relate to. Making these 2, the shadows, a collection of ALL of the murdered children's remnant, is just not personal enough for people to relate to. Make it the remnant from 2 well established charcaters, and well, you've got a story that people can latch onto. You must remember that storytelling is a complicated process, and you always need a right balance between just filler to explain things, and interesting charcaters to help move the plot foward in a way that makes sense for the reader, viewer, or player. To me, having these 2 be Charlie and also Cassidy makes sense and also helps the viewer, reader, or player latch onto the story more, being able to relate to these established characters. It's not always just lore my guy, it can't be, otherwise all you have is an interesting world. A story is not a painting, it's a play.

Honestly who golden freddy is isn't my main concern. It's the fact golden freddy is worse then willim and no one seems to call it out. Yes he hp zeroed a lot of kids but golden freddy took those kids souls locked them in a suit then when freed to pass on ripped those souls from passing on dragged them down into hell so they can live the endless nightmare to torture someone else outside of the rules of the soul. This would be like if I got my leg cut off so I captured the guy that did it and all his other victims forced them to watch a video of their limbs painfully getting ripped off as I tell them they might go free if they help me punish him without the law. Im not better i'm worse if I do this.

I personally disagree with you about the midnight motorist. It just doesn't make sense to me. If the one who escaped through the window is a crying child, then what does this give us. This shows that he is still alive, and that the bite has not yet occurred, as well as nothing else has happened yet. Why is the house in the middle of the forest, if the house in fnaf 4 was not there. Or why William was so drunk. This in general, as for me, adds little to the plot or explains. For me, another option seems more logical. That the runaway child is Michael, the child's brother, who ran away from home after what happened to his brother, then to return to FNAF 5 and 6. I believe that the events take place a little later than the events of fnaf 4, after which the Afton family could move away from the pizzeria where their child died. That grave could have belonged to him. His death could have been the cause of William's drunkenness. Last. You were not quite right when you said that the TV in the entire series appeared only in the fifth fnaf. He was still in one of the endings of fnaf world. Where one person was sitting in front of the TV with 2 children. And even if this is also an incomprehensible scene, this person could be the mother of the family, who also sits in the midnight motorist This version seems to me more truth-like, even though I admit that it is difficult to say something specific here

Hey I have a really good Unsolved mystery for FNAF. Well it’s kind of a 2 parter. 1. In Fnaf 3 you play as shadow Bonnie during one of the secret mini games. You have the ability to glitch into all the other fragmented memories which in of itself doesn’t make sense to me.. but the real mystery is the purple glitchy zone. That doesn’t fit the mold at all & to top it all off there’s a crying child sprite outside the border, but it’s colored in as black? I’m certain that’s the only time we see that & no one’s ever talked about it. 2. Fnaf 3’s “Phantoms”. I’ve never believed in them as just being hallucinations. That’s way too convenient. To tell you the truth I believe in a weird way that Spring trap is causing them. The eyes of the phantoms and a couple images of springtrap have very similar eyes. Check the loading screens I think. Anyways I’d love to hear what you think.
