I struggled with hyperemesis gravidarum in my last pregnancy. HG pregnancy is very difficult to deal with for many reasons. It is more than just extreme morning sickness while pregnant. Hg sent me to hospital for many weeks in a row, it tested me physically and mentally. I felt very alone when trying to beat hyperemesis gravidarum and I wanted to make this video after having my baby and finishing my hg pregnancy to show the aftermath and give other mamas hope on their hg journey! I was overwhelmed seeing all of those videos of other wonderful moms getting it all done each day and having a full face of makeup and clean house. I also realize that these people I was comparing myself to and letting myself feel so much mom guilt about had a lot of money to be able to pay people to help them with these daily tasks to get it all done. (Which is so amazing but not something that is financially available to me) We are all trying our best even the mamas I was mentioning above are doing an amazing job and I would love to be able to get it all done like them but that just isn't my reality. I am living through each day and taking it as it is. If you are like me and either a mama who is feeling overwhelmed at times, drowning in laundry and questioning if grilled cheese will do for another dinner tonight then you may be able to relate to me on this! 💕 I really appreciate your very kind words! It was a horribly scary time and I remember all of the loneliness I felt not knowing anyone who had gone through it and understood. I am hoping someone who is struggling can see this video and that a year after all that craziness I am okay and they will be too! They just have to keep waking up each day and fighting through those really hard times 🥰🥰 It is absolutely worth it to keep going and be able to hold your beautiful baby 9 months later.
