Hyperflash Fix on a Ford F150 - VLR-6 Load Resistors

Years ago we released our VLR load resistors and have continued to make them better with every iteration. The VLR-6 is easiest way to safely add load to any turn signal application. They run cooler and fit in tighter spots compared to a typical gold resistor. The heat sink works so well they can even be installed using the provided tape!
These are plug and play with our V6 Triton systems or use the included Duo Tap for direct replacement LED's.

Just installed the vled on my daughter's suv , and the polarity did matter. I was able to pull out the vehicles wires , and put them back in , and it worked just fine. My purchase did not come with the grease, so I will get some grease and add it to the wires soon.

I prefer ForScan. Simple, easy, cleaner, and reversible with no damage to the wires. Also, less load on the electrical system.

While this was installed on an F150 it's intended to be showing how these can be installed on any vehicle. It's pretty cool that Ford has ForScan as another option. We've heard of some dealers charging quite a bit to do it though. Thanks for suggesting an alternative for Ford customers!

@@vledscom ForScan is not made or authorized by Ford. It's basically reversed engineered software that does some of the functions that the software Ford dealers use can do.

Were the resistors updated recently? I bought some VLR3s a few months ago (sep 2021) and they had the threaded connector, not push together like in the video. Glad you have the VLR3 option to keep me doing half the install work. I like everything about these resistors but I do not use the duotap. Great products, especially bulbs. I only use VLEDS for this stuff. I try my hardest to persuade anyone going the canbus bulb route to reconsider and buy resistors and bulbs instead, and I always show them my impressive videos of the blinkers and brakes from you guys.

The VLR-3 still use our threaded connector due to the higher current rating on the larger connector. The small 2 pin plug has a lower maximum current rating.

This would work fine for a third brake light in a Hyundai Elantra? Gives me a warning saying my light is out haha
