Hyperia OPENING DAY VLOG | THORPE PARK in May 2024

So in a nutshell, this new coaster is just what the UK has been crying out for. Thorpe Park just fired the starting pistol for the other UK parks to up their game and give the rollercoaster enthusiasts more great coasters. After riding Hyperia, the adrenaline must be at euphoria levels for everyone. Happy faces all round and a great day out.

Cracking edit 👌🏼 I just had to be there on Friday.. and my feelings were very much the same as yours. Thorpe have knocked it out the park. Mack have done the same. I feel so sorry for those who missed out this weekend.. but we all know they will get their moment and will soon feel the same way about her as we do! For me it's world class. All the fears about being too short or too slow were so wrong, it does what it does absolutely perfectly! I absolutely love how everyone came off needing a moment to gather themselves.. every vlog is the same.. an element of disbelief, realising that it's even better than we hoped it would be. Friday was such a great day for the UK industry. Let's just hope she gets sorted this week. Fingers crossed this is the start of the next round of coaster wars! I'd love for Blackpool to hit back.. and Universal need to ensure they can offer rides of this quality too! 👀

Great vlog. Not finished it yet. Just hope you add the sad update incase people don't know as your all saying come ride it. I have to say you're the 4th vlog today I've watched about 20th since press night. I have to say I've not seen such a good organised open since the big one many years ago. Sadly i won't be coming to thorpe to ride her until she's been running for a season and not temperamental. As we don't know the fate of her yet. Im going to go instead this year to my old faithfuls over in BP and give the big one a hug on her birthday like I hugged her on her open day.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but who designed the actual layout of the ride from the start was it thorpe or mack or did they work together to design it on paper , im glad hyperia isnt a regular hypercoaster also not like their bad at all just this layout is really unique

It's a shame that they handled Hyperia closing on Saturday so poorly. It wasn't announced to those waiting in the queue line, people found out from a Facebook post first at 9:50.

Every park has a different pricing structure, the price we’ve been quoted for Hyperia is the most expensive ERT proposal I’ve ever been sent.
