The Hyperice X is a really neat recovery tool that is capable of providing cold therapy (down to 33F - without ice!) and heat therapy well over 100F. It is portable, easy to use and FSA/HSA approved.
I used it the last few months as I was dealing with walking in a cast for a broken foot. My knees were very sore from the weird gate I had developed and I relied on the Hyperice X to keep the swelling down as well pain management after surgery. This in combination with the Normatec Go compression system and ice were my go-to treatment.

You have no clue how this works it a Peltier chip on side gets hot the other side gets cold so that why it needs fans when your cooling because the other side get hot and the fans are for the heat sink to cool the hot side when on cool
