FINALLY!, someone that gets to the point, makes me laugh and doesn't B.S about a product.

I’m a newbie and went straight to Hyperion! Not sure why ANYONE would expose themselves to epoxy 😫 and I wasn’t looking forward to the long dry time with Crystalac. Love Hyperion! Super shiny and so so pretty. I work full time (at home since COVID). I can finish a cup in two days between meetings, etc. The Facebook group is EVERYTHING! So much advice, help and super cool folks. I got all my products in the US at very reasonable pricing. Made my cup tumbler with my hubby’s help (thank you Jesus!) and I’m ready to go. Thanks for your video. Love your teaching style. Give Hyperion more time and research. You won’t be disappointed.

I absolutely love your commentary. 😂 That chunky glitter, girl… always takes forever to cover. But smooshing it with parchment paper helps A LOT!
@mxlop2112 жыл бұрын
They recommend a light sand after layer 3 or 4 then a level sand after layer 6 or 7. That helped me a lot with this product. It does take a few layers to finish a cup though. I love your videos by the way.

Heyyyy 😊 thank you for your honest review as a new user. We know people struggle using a new product and have an amazing group and IG where anyone can reach our and you will be helped 😊 With regards to coats, your first coats over glitter or fabric can be flood coats, so as much as you feel you need. After coat 3 you want to do a gentle sand then it’s 7.5ml per 20oz tumbler or 3.5ml per 10oz. After that it’s just sand when you feel it’s needed . Sometimes grit can come from overworking and if there’s pooling the product may crinkle. With regards to chemicals, Hyperion doesn’t have any harmful chemicals, and this is based on EU laws which are one of the strictest if not the strictest in the world 😊 We are super proud of Hyperion and appreciate any and all feedback good or bad, that’s the only way we can improve right? ❤️ keep doing you 😊

Hi Cath. Although I am on social media for this kind of thing...in general im not on it. It would be really great if y'all stuck this information on the product page because I don't tend to join product groups (too many opinions and not enough facts from the manufacturer) and I will refer back to the packaging itself or the product website. When that information isn't available, I just do what I think is best in that situation. And I did mention that some don't know the difference between a harmful chemical and ones that with prolonged exposure may put you at risk for a reaction (that's how the US has them classified). thanks for the info.

Okay girl wait, first I need to tell you that your hilarious!!🤣🤣 baby crying in the crib🤣🤣🤣 I can’t! I’m a mod in the official hyperion group and we recommend using 7.5ml for each layer on a 20oz cup. If your doing s glitter tumbler like you did or fabric you can actually apply a lot more so it can get into all the grooves (I usually get about 20ml on, but leave it for to dry for abit longer) that way it will build up your layers quicker. We also advise people to do a light sand on layer 3 with 400 grit paper and then a full on level sand so there’s no shiny bits left on layer 4/5, that will get rid of all the indents in your chunky glitter and will make it shine even more

Great as always! I have messed up about 6 tumblers this month as well. Maybe it’s the full moon coming? Lol. Halloween is around the corner!!! Not a layers person. Like my epoxy. Would you make a video on stripping? I have my mess ups lined up in the garage! Good to see you back. Thank you for trying all of these products for us.

My bottle says "rub down gently before the final coat with a fine abrasive, and remove dust with a moist cloth or sponge". idk if they hadn't figured out the sanding they should have left it off the bottle because that's what I went by

People need to stop with all this “non-toxic” mess. It’s all toxic. Customers don’t want chemicals? Slap some vinyl on a cup and call it a day

The appears to be a lot of work. I really think traditional epoxy looks better.
