Hyperion is an interesting character but I don't get why Marvel doesn't give the guy more storylines! I mean, we are getting the same ol' characters over and over again. It's tiredsome, in my opinion...

Dickbutt Macfartballs Same, I only care about JL: Dark in DC nothing else. I'm more of a Marvel guy but I always try to expand my comic book lore a bit more. If Marvel were more intelligent instead of doing Civil War II. They could've just created a better storyline with Hyperion and Squadron Supreme but this take was definitely good what I don't like is Iron Man EVERYWHERE! I'm getting sick of the character...

Adam Nathaniel B Well lets say that i was refreshed to see iron man since i dont read "the invincible iron man" anymore ever since its being drawn by mike deodato aka 'the laziest comic artist of all time'. But if i were to read that too and then see him in hyperion, civil war 2, ms. marvel and so on then jeah i would get sick of it. Ms marvel is actually my fav comic at the moment.

The Man of Steel movie had a tone more fitting of Hyperion than Superman. Marvel has a great reserve of characters the problem is people need to give these non-core characters a chance, I guess the movies would be the avenue for that, queue the Hyperion movie!

Hyperion was such an awesome character! I loved how he very much like Superman but there are obvious differences as well and those differences made him a unique character. He had more issues than Superman since he wasn't raised on Earth at all. His friendship with Thor was one of the best comics I've ever read!

Hyperion is a more realistic character than Superman. If you are the last of your kind and you have super powers you will view others as lesser beings. It's a shame we can't have a Superman anti-hero like Hyperion

Bryan C superman is good because of the good values he was raised with. He didn't realize he was the last of his kind until he was almost an adult. You must not have a lot of faith in heroes if you honestly believe a man being good for the sake of good is unrealistic

Well its more of an homage. The Squadron Supreme of which Hyperion is originated from is a pastiche of the Justice league. DC has done the same with Marvel. Look up the Extremists for more.

Nope. Hyperion is. The original squadron supreme was a marvel copy of all the most popular members of the justice league. the original SS members were all copies. Hyperion=superman, power princess=wonder woman, nighthawk=batman, whizzer=flash, doctor spectrum=green lantern, amphibian=aquaman, skymax=martian manhunter, golden archer=green arrow, lady lark=black canary, tom thumb=atom, blue eagle=hawkman, arcana=zatanna, and finally nuke=firestorm

originally intended to be in marvel zombies because they couldn't use superman. sentry is much more powerful because reality altering abilities. hyperion is much closer in power set and ideals.

No Sentry is more of Marvels White Lantern . he limits him self to superman like powers in his hero half but as a hole his powers are derived from molecular manipulation which allows him to recreate anything around him and the ability to absorb light and darkness .his evil half becomes stronger in the dark , his good half becomes stronger in the light , however his darkside also grows stronger when people think about Sentry and also feeds on sentrys insecurities . Sort of like Oblivion and while lantern.
