hyperMILL 5-axis Machining: Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment - Housing | DMG | ASML | KSC

This housing demo part for semiconductor manufacturing equipment was made in collaboration with ‪@DMGMORI‬, ‪@ASMLcompany‬, ‪@eCERATIZIT‬ and ‪@knowledgesharingcentre5888‬. It shows many characteristics of the industry: prismatic geometries with holes and pockets, 5-axis simultaneous and 3+2 operations, seal groove machining, PMI's and angular heads to name a few.
Note: The sealing groove machining was programmed using DMG's shaping cycle.

Nice to see more PMI being used. Been pushing this in companies for some time now in efforts to move away from paper prints. There are obvious advantages for NC and CMM programmers as well, since they're working from a model anyways. 👍

Hallo, ich suche schon länger eine CAM Lösung für die Mehrachsbearbeitung bei mir zu Hause an meiner Selbstbau Hobbymaschine. Leider sind alle gängigen Programme für eine Privatperson mit Hobbyanwendung extrem teuer. Bietet ihr eine Art Hobbylizenz/Makerlizenz für Privatpersonen an?

@@teekteekteekteek Fusion 360 lässt mich mit der Hobbylizenz nur 3 Achsen steuern. Die Multiachs Features wurden leider vor ein paar Jahren hinter die Paywall gepackt :(

If you're concerned about the price of fusion multi-axis, then you're talking orders of magnitude when looking at something like hyperMill.

@@zaknefain100 im talking about a hobbyist license. It's just not possible for me to pay 200€ a month just to be able to learn and play around at home in a hobby diy environment. theres just no software around that would be affordable for that matter
