I am using Xiaomi HyperOS in Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and it is incredibly butter smooth. And there is also now options like Wallpaper Personalisation and Mi Sans which we were waiting for 3 years and Xiaomi didn't gave it in previous India and Global updates. Trust me the lock screen editing settings is like amazing. Also idk if everyphone is supported Android 14 with HyperOS but my Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is supported with Android 14 HyperOS. I am soo happy and enjoying with HyperOS.

With all do respect, I feel like they just needed to continue the MIUI lineup and not straight away changing it. Feels funny that they need to change their naming convention just for the UI when it's just a new update. Would even be better if they just jump out to a MIUI 20 just like how Windows 8.1 to 10

Guess what, MIUI is based on AOSP too. "Hyper OS" is just renamed MIUI 15. Xiaomi rolled out Android 14 update on Xiaomi 13 phones, which is basically Hyper OS test and on my 13 they fixed few things but on the other side - they broke more than few things. Xiaomi will never learn. Unfortunately, in my opinion hardware is good and feels like quality, but software, dear god, never again. Tapping the screen to wake not working properly, default link opening for apps - not working properly, should I say anything about Material You by Google is not working properly - you need to you use Shizuku and Repainter to make it work like it should work. List is too big for me to write what is not working. For basic stuff you need third party apps to make something to work. And this is what they call "premium" phone. Premium my ass. To be honest, I dislike Samsung, but now is like only solid option for normal UI. Huawei is dead, Oneplus is not what it was years ago. RIP@@AJ83-j3l

Just got the update last night on my xiaomi 13, I hate it. They removed the settings wheel from the control center, I know they made a toggle available but somehow it dissappears after a while, need to add it again. I now have 2 huge Wi-Fi calling tabs on top of Wi-Fi / Mobile Data, horrible.
