Guardians of the galaxy is mainly green screen while suicide squad is practical and They can travel together have more freedom and can experience things different that weren’t possible with green screen. That’s why I thing he told that, also the cast is bigger and he has good friends there

This is awesome, I got a couple of the comics from the 80's and some of the visuals I'm seeing looks like they were ripped out of the pages. I wasn't sold on Suicide Squad, but I knew when James Gunn was assigned as the director we'd get something incredible. And man, from both the First Look and the cast video, it's going to be extremely crazy. The cast is amaaaazing. So many great actors, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis (all returning), with Idris Elba, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi added, and a ton more. John Cena looks so dorky in the Peacemaker outfit and I am all here for it. TDK screams Arms-Fall-Off-Boy to me, with a different name and probably a slightly altered powerset. I can see him, Polka-Dot Man, Javelin, Blackguard, Ratcatcher 2, and some others die along the way though. It's gonna be great! Thanks for these awesome reactions guys! Looking forward to more, and let's hope that we'll get to see you three together again sooner, rather than later.

I love Kitana since the Brave and the Bold #200 ugh it sucks she isn't returning and how is Killer Frost not a part of the Squad? I wish this was more of the DC Rebirth/ DC Universe Squad looking forward to it but wish it was more of the regular members. Should be Kitana, Croc, Enchantress, King Shark , Black Spider , Flag, Harley, Boomerang , Bronze Tiger, Killer Frost and Deadshot but his role is open for Will Smith to return for the 3rd one. I am going in with no expectations not really excited for this but i hope i am surprised when i walk out of the theater. I like some of the members being a fan of the comic but i could see this bombing.

Definitely a sequel to the 2016 movie and also a continuation of Birds Of Prey in continuity. Rick Flagg, Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn and Amanda Waller are in it and the rest of the previous movie-characters are either in jail, free (Deadshot possibly) or died on another mission off-screen. Will Smith could even be brought back in the next movie after this one if he wants and we could see Katana in the future.

There is a reason its called Suicide Squad. In the comics they do this alot, they have a core of 4 or 5 main squad members and then the rest are fodder, joke or obscure villians that are there to fill out the roster.

Except James Gunn was given free reign on the entire movie. Something David Ayer wasn’t given. He’s also pretty amazing at directing ensemble casts, knows a lot about the source material and isn’t afraid to go out there with his films. For something as insane as the Suicide Squad that’s exactly what you need to make it successful. DC is also taking a different route with their films after the success of Aquaman, Shazam and The Joker. Three films where each director was given the same amount of creative freedom.

It’s easier to make a trailer using only 25% of a movie then having to scrub through a bunch of scenes of a fully filmed on to then shave it down and cut it to a 2 minute trailer. Especially with everything going on.

Uhum, not exactly copying, but return to combined the classic film making with green screen, this filming style already done by many movies before marvel avengers. There are no copying in filming style. All are improvised from the old days. But i get what you mean ^^
