Skate Legend Oh that's great! I was there on Sunday. Rocknrollercoaster is similar to space mountain and Indiana jones isn't as intense . They're both so good . I'm currently sitting on my sofa with my tower of terorr hoodie and star wars ears from when I went the other day 😆

Hey! I’m the same person as skate legend! Yeah I’ve been on tower of terror, rockin rollercoaster and Indiana Jones! I loved it! I’m only 10 but tall enough for all of them! Hello, person looking through comments to try and decide if you wanna get on the ride - trust me, you do! :) I'm a pretty scaredy/anxious person and was VERY afraid of getting on that ride, but finally broke through and decided to go - and it was FANTASTIC!! The wait might make you feel more anxious than the ride itself! Once you get launched up at the start, the adrenaline kicks in and it's pure fun! It's really easy to get mesmerized by the sound and visuals, you forget you were afraid in the first place. Just don't let your eyes shut tight, it was a reflex I had to fight and honestly my only concern during the ride! xD I stepped out of the ride all shaky, but grinning more than I ever did before and the first words I stuttered out to my friend were "OH GOD I WANT AGAIN" The memories are unforgettable, I still get shivers when I remember it and I can't wait to give it another go someday! Here's some more details and answers to questions I had myself before stepping in: -The loop - yes there is a loop. No, you don't feel it at all, you have no idea when it happens because it's this dark on the ride and it all happens so fast. If you have long hair, it won't let you notice the loop either because your hair gets pinned down by the seat's "harness" too! -Speed - probably the scariest part is the wait before the ride and the starting launch. The upwards degree and the sheer power it happens with can be intimidating, but I felt like that was the fastest part of the ride - and also potentially the scariest because of the anticipation and because before/during launch you can still see a bit of the outside world, so it gives you some indication as to how your body is positioned -but as soon as you enter the darkness right after launch, you completely lose the sense of that and frankly that makes things less intimidating [along with the adrenaline kick you get during the launch itself] -Sensitive body - I worried about my stomach getting upset by the ride, so I just didn't eat anything for 1h before the ride [we had fastpass] and tried to drink less and only water for that period of time too - and it was completely fine! As someone who had motion/car sickness in the past, I was surprised at just how unfazed my body was by this ride. Again, I think that's largely because your brain can't tell how the body is positioned, so it has no dissonance that causes motion sickness. I was a bit weak after stepping out of the cart, but in no way was it a dangerous kind of dizzyness or weakness, just the effect of adrenaline wearing off. Just give yourself time after stepping out of the cart and don't rush outside. Let your body and mind get used to being back in normal position and speed and you'll be all good! -Safety - the ride feels very safe. The harness of the cart is very solid, comfy and massive, it will hold the whole of you snuggled into the seat nice and close, your torso will not move much in it and you can hold on to the bars in front of the harness to feel even more stable. Remember to keep your head pushed into the head rest of your seat!! If you follow the instructions and what the staff tells you, you'll have a safe and wonderfully fun time!! -Ask ask ask! If you have any other doubts, ask the staff members - they'll be happy to help and reassure you, like they did for me :) Have a great ride! :D

This is my favorite Hyperspace Mountain! Went to Disney Paris in 2017 when it was under construction then again in summer 2019, and it was open! It surely caught me off guard with the loops and corkscrews but it was AMAZING. Cant wait to go back just for this and the Rockin Rollercoaster 😁😁

Lozzadoeshair the one in Disneyland Paris does! It has multiple loops and a corkscrew I think..kinda hard to tell in the dark and it goes so fast as well. I don’t think the one in Florida has inversions though!

Today came back from Paris, went on this ride and It was my first ever loop ride. I'm absolutely horrible on rides like that Lightening McQueen one, if anyone went on it at the Toy Story land thingy, so eventually, friends decided they were gonna go on Hyperspace mountain again, they'd been on once before, me and my mates hadn't, so we went on it and queued up, queues aren't that long, and my heart was killing me. As soon as we got on I was nervous, but found myself throwing my hands in the air and having loads of fun on it, went on this and Indiana Jones about 9 times each because its so fun, despite the heat. I'd fully recommend this and the Rock and Roll rollercoaster, and Indiana Jones, The Hollywoood Tower of Terror and Lightening McQueen. Absoloutely love loop rollercoasters and drops now, fully over my fear of rides! Wish I was back there now..

Shrek Is amazing it’s really fun, when you stop at the start that bit is tense but if you like going upside down, plus being in dark it’s great but it breaks down quite a bit, loud noises, bright lasers and good story line.

Guys, the old theme was outdated and the coaster was begging to be overhauled. This is an improvement over the other space mountains and with the new trains and everything, offers a far better ride experience

This is an improvement how? The Jewls Vern theme was very cool and had a cohesive story which would still be amazing by todays standards not "Oh let's just shove Star wars into space mountain with just some props to make you buy star wars merchandise." This version is way more dated as props and lighting effects are so common in today's standard same with star wars. The point of discoveryland was to see what the future would look like in the past not the present.

Anybody else really hoping this overlay is temporary? It would appear the old Mission 2 theming is still inside. The trains look nothing like Star Wars and appear to fit in with the rides old theme... let's hope it's not something that's here for the long run.

I wasn't on this ride, but the first version was very good, Mission 2 was completely crap. I hope this is better. From what I could see on this video it seems that it's much better than Mission 2. Maëva Jackson - Une émission est passé à la télé il y a 3 semaine de ça dessus. Plusieurs employés ont dit qu'il voulaient lutter contre cette fermeture mais ils ne peuvent pas. Disney accueil de moin en moin de gens chaque jour, ce qui pose des ennuis : Disney à de moin en moin d'argent, et si sa continue, en 1 an, Disney aurra perdu plus de 23% de sa conquête.

For the ones who are scared to try it, let me tell you what happened in my case. For so many years i didn’t wanna try any roller coaster there, until the day i tried the Indiana Jones one, then Rock’N’Roller Coaster and so on. Space Mountain was the only one i still didn’t wanna try. But yesterday i went there again with my best friend and tried it. I was almost crying in the queue, but once it started with the loops etc, i literally screamed ‘omg that’s so cool!!’. Don’t waste an opportunity to have fun guys, and even if you don’t like it in the end, that’s like not even one minute spent in there😉

En gros c'est "encore" du Stars Tours mais sur rails cette fois. Il est temps que Disneyland Paris sorte des vraies nouveautés car comparé à Asterix ils commencent à se faire distancer.

ah bon jy suis allee ya10 jours et je ne vois pas ce que tu trouve en plus a asterix ....tout est sale (les bassins, les rails des attrations, les slides d'eau) les peintures de certains manèges sont autres que vieux et d'autres sont rouillés, il grince tellement que vous avez peur de monter dedans et la bouf .... deux restos ouverts pas vraiment le choix et vraiment pas extra.... sans parler que ten a vite fait le tour puisque qu'un seul theme ASTERIX ET OBELIX donc a part 2 ou 3 rides a sensations, le reste vraiment bofff bofff !!!

Oui, sauf qu'à Disney la seule nouveauté c'est Ratatouille (je compte pas les améliorations de Stars Tours et Space Moutain qui existaient déjà et qui ne coutent "pas cher"). Entre temps, à Asterix t'as eu Oziris, Discobelix et Pegase Express qui sont elles, des vraies nouveautés.

Personnellement j'aime les 2 parcs mais poue cette attractions je dit #ripspacemoutain encore un truc sur le theme stars wars il sont chiant un peu disney et puis je trouve les graphismes du space était plus beau avec les laser orange en triangle sa donnait une impression d'être dans un trou noir bizard ect .. mais enfin, heureusement qu'il n'ont pas casser le space et qu'on aura tjr les meme sensations. Par contre si il peuvent construire une nouvelle attraction ça serait pas mal (il on largement la place en plus) et pas sur le thème Star Wars svp! Sinon autant appeler ça StarWarsLand Paris ou alors faire un 3eme parc spécial avec que du stars wars.. (bon j'abuse un peu la mais srx sa commence a faire beaucoup de stars wars dans disney vous ne trouver pas?)

My only complaint with this one is with the diagram of the Y wing, an arrow pointed at laser canons and labelled them ion cannons, the ion canons are actually behind the cockpit, other than that, solid ride.

It's not quite as good as the old theme because it doesn't fit at all. However the Trains are definetly an improvement

I´m confused , this is Disneyland resort Paris or Star wars resort Paris? Idk why Disney decided to remake the best attractions and transform it! :( The same shit happen with Tower of terror in DCA ,they decided to change the best attraction an transform it into a Marvel attraction :(

Peter Bracamontes Tower of Terror's closing had a reason. The license for the ride was too expensive and Disney couldn't afford to keep the ride, so they had to remove it from DCA.

Je poste ça car je cherchais des gens pour me rassurer. Je voulais jamais monter dedans, et je me suis lancée. Quand c'est parti je me suis dit qu'est ce que je fous là... Et après j'ai ris comme une folle...Je l'ai finalement fait...14 fois !

@@fsgr6377 oui mais c'est vraiment pas impressionnant. Ce qui fait le plus flippe la première fois c'est le départ quand on est fort en pente, après c'est vraiment un train de la mine amélioré.

Et vraiment le truc bien a Disney c'est toutes les mises en scène ou tu es pas juste la à attendre la descente comme à Astérix par exemple. Du coup ton esprit est pris par autre chose qui permet de déconcentrer ton esprit uniquement sur l'attraction en elle même
