In preperation for the ToQger episode of Boonboomger, I'm getting an insight on the show by watching the FIRST and LAST episode while trying to theorise on what it's about!

Toquger is one of my favorites its the sentai that i showed my younger brother and he loved it because hes obsessed with trains. It also has my 2nd favorite orange ranger

the movie(?) kinda would bridge the gap I think betweeen the series end and boonboomger appearance as there's a bit of a time jump for the team if i remember in that movie

​@@FilmFormStudiosi think yes, It's better to watch it too Sentai usually have 2 stand alone movies (not crossovers), the first one is in the beginning of the series (before episode 10ish) this is just 24 minutes, and after the series ended so a continuity (this is in the actual movie length) The title is Ressha Sentai ToQger Returns: Super ToQ 7gou of Dreams (行って帰ってきた烈車戦隊トッキュウジャー 夢の超トッキュウ7号 Itte Kaettekita Ressha Sentai Tokkyūjā Yume no Chō Tokkyū Nana-gō)

this season sorta reminds me of kids movies in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s featuring child actors going on an adventure in a magical world, it takes a certain mindset to truly appreciate. like little kids or parents watching with their little kids would like this way more than your typical power rangers audience of late-gradeschoolers, they would immediately dismiss this as to babyish for them. but if you're an adult reminiscing about the family films you watched when you were younger, then you're definitely mature enough to enjoy this season without feeling ashamed like you would if you were a preteen or teenager.

i love toqger, and the twist in the end and their movie, a lot hated it because of their suits and helmet , but i like it it goes to show how big trains in Japan.

There was a crossover special with Kamen Rider Gaim that is even entertaining out of context. AFAIK, there was one other crossover special the next year with Ninninger and Kamen Rider Drive, both series are worth watching as well as the previous two.

@@FilmFormStudios Yep, I don't know the real reason but my guess is that they stopped making them since the sells of the five really small weapons that turn into a regular size bazooka weren't great. (Search for the review videos, those things were TINY) Afterwards we got stuck with team weapons like the HandleDriver of Boonboomger, and the last time we referenced the bazooka was in Zenkaiger (2021) but was only for 1 episode

This would be a very bad idea like context is needed like imagining going from like episode one of ryusoulger a show with a lot of context needed and you go from the masters being killed what ever the first duridon was called and three kishryu to 11 kishryu three robot fights a new sword that has the power to seal away this new not previously existing villain and after it broke after they say that the swords power was drained and koh is dead and revived from a ryusoul that melto dropped in the like first time we hear her name eras like what the hell happened
