I have the Theragun. 16 mm of deep tissue massage regardless of which model you buy besides the mini. Plus the attachments on the hypervolts are plastic.

The battery overheats it starts and stops don’t feel the massage as in the older model not worth it

I would contact Hyperice. These are built for professional use and I have never heard of battery issues before, you might have a defunct unit
